If she were to remember back then, it was one of the happiest moments in her life. At that time, she really felt like she was living, like she had a purpose. But life is not a fairytale and she failed the relationship. The relationship was suffocation and they both agreed. It was too much when both refused to compromise. The reason of the breakup was easy. They failed to pass the stage that any couple went through.

 

But moving on was hard.

 

Walking aimlessly, Yoon Ju hugged herself from the cold and tried to take her head off from thinking of her past relationship. It was pointless trying to remember someone who walked away and made the thoughts of him accompany her on her night walks. She wished she could have thought of something else. Something that will benefit her more, like the guests' seating arrangements for the upcoming wedding, or the yet to be decided menu, or if the table cloth suited the colour scheme she had in mind. But nothing was going to block out his voice from ringing inside her head. His laughter was getting clearer and by then, she had a hard time distinguishing if it was her imagination or if it was real. Because there stood before her, a man she had been longing for so long with a smile on his face and a woman by his side. She finally found her voice when she uttered his name,

 

“Lee Byunghun?” and that was when she knew, she had made the biggest mistake that night. So she turned around and ran.
