Everyone was hanging out in my and Jin’s apartment; All our couple friends are present; the girls are chit chatting on one side while the guys are playing ps4; making loud noises whenever their character is in danger of dying; it is another ordinary get together; we been friends for almost a decade now and twice a month meeting is a must for little catch ups

“I think, No. I believe I'm ready to date again.” Jin shyly blurted out

Making SoYou spilled her drink, MinAh and SoEun squealed in excitement; KyungSoo lost in the game by BaekHyun because he’s to pre-occupied from what Jin has said; ChanYeol looked at me and MinSeok’s lips from an O, tongue-tied with the sudden confession they all heard

Jin looked to everyone one by one with a nervous look on her face; the last person she look for the longest is JongDae; who happened stop munching his pizza, nervous too on what Jin has on her head but fake it with his unamused expression

“I mean I’m not young anymore, I need love.” Jin confessed seriously

Her friends realization hit them hard on the head and heart; its been seven years since Jin got to a relationship and here she was stuck in taking care of DaEul, always home and didn't have time to mingle with the opposite and they realized how anxious she was seeing them with their respective partners embracing each other in front of her while she was always holding DaEul or alone in the corner whenever it was movie night

“Go ahead! Have everywhere with that man! It’s your happiness.” SoYou encouraged her best friend, as she knew Jin is making a move now to move on with her unrequited love to JongDae

“But JaGi; Don't you think it is still too early to say that Jin is ready, She should have considered it big time.” ChanYeol countered taking the side of JongDae secretly; he wants the two to end up together

“She is ready, ChanYeol-ssi, She already said it, Let her be.” MinAh spoke this time

“It is easy to take it step by step than getting in a relationship all of sudden and regret it once it didn’t turn out good.” KyungSoo argued to MinAh

“But how can Jin know if she didn't try?” SoEun’s turned to in

“it is easier to take precautions than cure.”MinSeok attacked SoEun’s statement

“I am just sharing it to you guys because I need some advice and not for you to argue.” Jin sadly trying to cope up her emotion; she didn’t expect that the sudden confession of her possibly dating can cause ruckus to the group

“Jin, I don’t think there’s a man who could like you, You’re too plain; Guys like girls with long hair and that doesn’t suit you. So basically I believe you'll be forever alone.” JongDae straightly insulted her without loosing his focus on the television screen

Right, that’s why Jin never grow her hair longer than her shoulders is because JongDae told her that it doesn’t suit her; it always reminded her that long hair are for beautiful women and she doesn’t belong in that category as JongDae always pertain to; giving her low self-esteem and making her to break up with LuHan for believing she was not enough for him, leaving her broken hearted and single for a long time

All of them got silent and looked at Jin apologetically for what they have done while JongDae just shrugged the fact that he hurt Jin; Jin excused herself to the kitchen to get another set of sodas and refill the popcorn bowl

She let out sigh while waiting for the popcorn to be done inside the microwave; How could JongDae insulted her like it was so  easy for him to let out those hurtful words; like her feelings doesn’t matter

It was BaekHyun’s birthday and we all decided to surprise him by throwing a party with our favorite bar; everyone we knew in our circle of friends are invited; Jin and SoYou was not yet around, SoYou dragged Jin with her to the salon, Jin was hesitant at first to go for a make-over; she actually the girl who’s more into comfortable casual clothes than the y ones but this time she gave a shot and let SoYou lead the way besides she knew SoYou won’t let her look like a clown; the night is young and somehow she is hoping to meet someone worthy of her time because college life is all about fun
