Teacher: How is everyone doing today?

Students: Gooood!

Everyone stood up, greeted the teacher and bowed, then sat down again.

Teacher: How are our new students?

Kingkas: Good!

Teacher: And how are you Jiyeon? Coming all the way from the States...

Youngmin: You're from the states?

Jiyeon: Yea.

Youngmin: So you can speak english?

Jiyeon: Mhm.

Youngmin: Whoa~

Kwangmin just smirked.

 Minwoo: Psh, I can speak english too....

Teacher: Oh really Minwoo, then you and Jiyeon whould have a competition!

Minwoo: I'll win this easily...

Minwoo and I had to stand infront of the class, and the teacher walked to the back. He asked us to translate sentences to korean. Best of 3.

Teacher: I'll start with something easy. The cat ran away from the house.

I raised my hand, but I wasn't fast enough. Minwoo beat me to it, and the teacher gestured to him.

Minwoo: I went home before I went to the store.

Teacher: No, I'm sorry Minwoo.

Minwoo: Was I close?

Teacher: No, I'm sorry. Jiyeon do you have an answer?

Jiyeon: Yes. You said " The can ran away from the house." The can ran away from the house.

Everyone in the class went "OOO."

Teacher: Yes. And really good pronounciation. Ok next sentence. This one is harder. Before I could do anything, the man took her purse and disappeared.

I was the first to put up my hand this time.

Everyone cheered. Minwoo looked annoyed. I just went back to my seat, and so did he. I couldn't look at Minwoo at all during class. I was too scared to see his face. The bell rang and I bolted out of there. I quickly went to my locker, and walked to Mia's.

Mia: Jiyeon-ah, your english is perfect!

Jiyeon: What do you expect? I'm from California!

Mia: But I don't know about Minwoo, he hates to be beaten, especially by a girl...

Jiyeon: Well, it's his fault, he kinda challenged me.

Mia: But he dosen't realize that, so it's trouble for you...

Jiyeon: UGH. Whatever. I already beat him and he already hates me. I'm gonna go to class.

Mia: Wait. Can you come with me to the cafeteria?

Jiyeon: Sure.

We walked to the cafeteria, and Mia bought a drink from the vending machine. Minwoo and the twins were behind us, waiting to buy a drink too. I didn't dare look at him. I just walked away when Mia was done.

Minwoo: Aish... There's that girl again...

Youngmin: Her name is Jiyeon.

They continued to talk about me as Mia and I left the cafeteria. I have a bad feeling about this...
