Bon Appétit Culinary Academy is a prestigious culinary school, producing the finest and sharpest chefs. They originated from France in 1987 but quickly expanded and placed their schools all around the world, allowing their students to exchange back and forth to learn different cultural foods. Now, in 2012, they mark their first and newest academy in South Korea. How will this new school become?

In a strict and uptight academy, five students strive to reach the top. With passion and talent in their hearts, they learn to master the most challenging dishes and to please any customer. Although learning to cook is a tiring experience, learning to love and to bond proves to be a harder task to finish. With each carrying a different persona and character can they learn to mix in the five spices and make the ending a perfect blend or will the experiment fail and leave with a disastrous taste?

○ Ahn Daniel ‘Niel’ (sour)

Age: 17

With nothing but a hardworking and wavering attitude, he lives up to being a cross and somewhat annoying boy. He’s a typical know-it-all and he isn’t afraid to show it; he may not have a whole lot of talent but his dedicated spirit covers it. Although he may be a brat, he’s a piece of eye-candy. However, even being a popular heart catcher he has no other interest except to be number one.

○ Jung Eunmi ‘Mimi’ (spicy)

Age: 17

Being the only daughter from her aristocratic family, she is a true princess with a fiery and spoiled attitude. Whatever she wants she’ll always get and she makes sure that line happens every time. She’s the most popular girl on campus, only because of her family name and riches; otherwise she’s the girl everyone hates. Even knowing the hatred around her, she plays along with the queen role.

○ Kim Jinyeon ‘Yeon’ (sweet)

Age: 17

Matching her young, youthful looks, she’s an upbeat and optimistic girl who’s a child at heart. Although she may be a bit slow and naïve, she proves to be an innocent girl with a pure spirit. Growing up from a poor family, she learned to be grateful for everything and learned to smile through everything, including heartbreaks and shattered dreams.

○ Lee Byunghun ‘L. Joe’ (bitter)

Age: 18

With a dark and cool attitude, he pulls off being the typical blank badass. He’s a remote boy who appears to be a bit intimidating and scary but he is gifted with amazing chef skills. At school he is a popular boy because of his good looks and his bad boy aura. Chicks dig bad boys and he matches that definition perfectly since he is a pure badass

○ Lee Chanhee ‘Chunji’ (salty)

Age: 18

Possessing a bright smile, handsome assists, and having a wealthy background, there is no mistaking the prince of the academy. He’s infamous for capturing girls’ hearts and is nonetheless, a notorious playboy. Although he is a sunshine-y type of person, his inner emotions and feelings say otherwise. Inside of his charming outer shell lies a weak duckling waiting for help.
