he was trapped in a box he knew that. as he looked for a way out he found there isnt one not with how tall the box is and how little he was. he knew if he didnt get out of the box he could die. he thought back to his old house he didnt want to go back there no that was a living hell for him. he wanted out of the box but he didnt want a human to find him humans are untrust worthy. feeling bad for himself he started to whimper.

as jackson passed the ally on his way home from hanging out with his friends he heard a small whimper and stoped dead in his tracks  he looked down the ally to see if someone is there he spoted a tall box and headed for it he opend the top to see a small little kitten looking back at him.

as the top was opened above him he saw a man looking down at him and said

"hello litle guy what are you doing in here?"

he backed away from the man. the man held out his hand for the kitten showing him that he can trust the man mark felt some sort of comfort from the man he walked closser to the man without thinking and sniffed his hand his body reacted automatically and rubed his head on the mans hand he let the man pick him up

"im jacksom"

the man said. mark tought the name jackson suited him.

"its cold so ill put you in my jacket till we get home"

jackson said and he did exactly that. mark was met with jacksons chest and jacksons jacket as a blanket

when jackson got home he placed the small kitten in the middle of his bed hoping it would be warm he looked at the small cat on his bed and noticed the cat had white fur. there was a lot of dirt in his fur and said to the kitten

"i'll get you something to eat"

and jackson ran off to the kitchen

mark found it weird because no human has ever been this nice to him befor. mark started to clean himself the best he could but most of the dirt was stuck to his fur and it would take days to get off. mark took the time to look at the room he was in and noticed it was a small apartment unlike marks old house but mark liked this one alot more. he liked jackson even if he dosent fuly trust him yet.

jackson came back with fish because he didnt have any cat food in his house. he made a reminder to go shoping for cat stuff tommorow. when mark finished eating jackson noticed a collar that was around the kittens neck it was black, worn and falling apart he took it of the cats neck and looked at it it had no info just the cats name

"mark"

jackson said aloud and the cat looked at him. jackson got up and put the collar in the trash as it would be no help to him. he would get the cat a new one tommorow. he picked the cat up and put him on his chest it was past midnight and they both need sleep. he pet marks head as he said

"looks like your with me now"

and mark started to purr they both fell aleep like that
