"....and that's how the Demon prince was trapped in his own castle, cursed to live alone for the rest of his eternal life." Dara whispered as she carefully placed the book on the night stand, that was located beside Jin Hee's bed.

"Sweet dreams my lovely, princess." The mother kissed her daughter's forehead and adjusted the covers before she strode to the living room, where her husband was waiting for her.

"Demon prince, huh?" Jiyong smiled, knowing the book with his closed eyes. He gave it to Jin Hee as a gift for her 5th birthday and since then the fairytale became her ' nighty night best friend'.

"Are you sure you can't cancel the dinner?" Mrs Kwon, Jiyong's mother asked, joining the young couple who was getting ready to leave their beautiful mansion. Concerned could be detected in her voice while she glanced at the storm outside.

"Don't worry, mother. Mrs Kim sent his private driver and the limousine. " Jiyong smiled in assurance, kissing her cheek and bidding his goodbye, not knowing it will be his last, as well.

That night, the inevitable happened and the Kwons never returned home. They died during a car accident, leaving their broken heart daughter , behind.

Ten years later, Jin Hee is chased into the forest by her uncles hit men. The poor girl manages to escape the first shooting round, but wounded and with no clue where to hide, she ran towards the river. Unfortunately she loses her balance and falls into the icy water.

She wakes up days later, inside a room that isn't hers and with the Demon prince towering over her almost limp body.

"Am I dead and went to Heaven?" Were her first words. Little did she knew, she just landed in hell, V's hell to be exact.
