Pulling his car off to the side of the road, the two of you got out and walked closer to the water’s edge. Seeing the water slowly lap up onto the pebbled shore, your eyes slowly wandered across the horizon to see large houses back the Dam, their lights turning off as the hours of the night wore on. Feeling a slight breeze run through your hair, you glanced up at the beautiful blanket of stars overhead. The black canvas sat behind the glistening hints of light as a warm hand gently brushed against yours. Dropping your eyes down to the man beside you, you moved your hand into his as yet another smile planted itself upon your lips.

“Such a beautiful night” He commented, his brown eyes looking into yours as you squeezed his hand gently and nodded.

“So beautiful” You whispered in reply as your eyes moved back up to the stars.

Listening to the soft sounds of the night, your eyes carefully moved across the stars as his thumb brushed over your hand.

“You know… the stars almost look as bright as your eyes do” He complimented as you blushed, thankful that it was dark so that he didn’t see how red your cheeks were.

“Goodness…” You shook your head falling speechless in that moment as you looked over at him, moving closer to him, you felt something pull you closer and closer to him as his arms found their way around your waist.

Your arms slowly s up around his neck as you finally were able to look into the eyes of the flawless man that stood before you. Watching his eyes slowly speak volumes, far further than language would allow. His hands gently pressed into your lower back as your fingers slowly found their way into his soft hair.

A thought came into his mind as his eyes told you about his upcoming actions, searching your eyes for answers, he gently leaned in as you leaned forward. Tilting your heads slowly to one another and closed the distance between the two of you before your lips were gently on his. Moving his lips gently against yours, you followed his lead as a warmth slowly filled you, feeling his right hand move from your side, he slowly pressed it against your cheek as he cradled your head. In that moment, your heart took a chance, leaning into his touch while kissing him you slowly ran your fingers through his hair as the passion began to grow between the two of you. His soft touch, his warm and welcoming kiss with his other hand firmly pressing into your back, showing you that he doesn’t want you to go anywhere.

Taking a step towards him, you closed the gap between your bodies as the kiss began to increase slowly in speed, the butterflies fluttering in your stomach as your lips danced with his. Breaking softly for air, you just smiled and blushed as you tucked your head into the crook of his neck as his other hand wrapped around you and slowly rubbed your back. With his gentle rubs on your back, they slowly turned into a massage as you nuzzled your head into his neck gently, your fingers gently running through his hair. Lifting your head from the comfy position you were in, he looked into your eyes as you just smiled.

“You enjoyed it didn’t you?” He questioned with a teasing tone.

“As much as you did” You back.

“I’m glad the feeling is mutual” He giggled as you nodded, blush easily filling your cheeks.

Gazing into his beautiful eyes, you saw a brightness to his eyes that you haven’t seen before. The stars seemed to have slipped into his eyes as they looked back into yours. His gentle and soft touch continued to linger, as his arms stayed around you.

With the most brilliant stars and the full moon reflecting on the surface of the water, the waves lightly lapping up on the rocky shore as the two of you stood underneath the universe over your heads, utterly lost in one another to bother looking away from one another.

A few bone chilling breezes blew across the water, bringing the cooling temperature of the water with it. With the breeze, your body temperature began to drop, causing your muscles to start to shiver to generate some warmth underneath your jacket. Feeling his arms wrap around you, you were happily pulled against his warm body as your fingers curled around the fabric of his jacket as his subtle manly scent welcomed you as your head rested on his shoulder.

Your legs began to shake as he slowly rocked from side to side, running his hands along your back as he tried to warm you while your heart continued to beat quickly against him. Feeling relaxed and happy against him, you began to shake more and more as he chuckled before turning his head and kissing your cheek ever so softly.

“Should we head back to the car and get warm?” He questioned, slightly pulling back to look into your beautiful eyes.

“Sure, but I don’t want to go home just yet…” You confessed as he chuckled shaking his head.

“We won’t, we’ll drive around a little” He suggested as you nodded happily.

Making your way back to the car, he opened your door for you without fail, slipping into the passenger seat, he closed the door with a smile. Rounding the car, he slipped behind the wheel and pushed his key into the ignition. Happily turning over the key, the engine purred before he shifted the car into gear and then headed off happily.

Taking his hand in yours, you held it as the warm air from the heater hit you, shivering still slightly, you leaned over and wrapped your arms around his while resting your head on his shoulder. Closing your eyes for a moment, the warmth from his body made you feel like you were home, like how it was supposed to be. Your thoughts stayed in the present as your fingers slowly brushed over his arm, holding him close as you didn’t know how this night could get any better.

Driving around for a little while longer, the two of you headed back to your apartment complex as he pulled into an empty spot. Turning off his car, he opened his arms as you smiled and leaned over, giving him a hug. Twisting your body around, you found yourself leaning against his chest, gazing up at him as he cradled your head in his arm, with his arms securely wrapped around you you couldn’t help but feel his gentle brushes of his thumbs across your exposed skin. His beautiful brown eyes sharing secrets that no words dared to utter.

Feeling yourself in bliss, you slowly closed your eyes, just soaking in the moment, wanting to have this moment one to remember. Relaxing ever so slowly to his soft touches and his beating heart next to yours, he gently leaned down and pressed one of the softest kisses you have ever experienced gently on your cheek. The soft gentle kiss was full of love, gratefulness, and hope for the future.

Shaking your head slightly from side to side, a bright smile never left your lips as you opened your eyes, meeting his.

“I couldn’t help myself” He chuckled ever so softly as you nuzzled into him, your arms tightening around his as his tightened around you.

“Don’t worry, it was very romantic” You reassured him as the soft lights of the street lamps highlighted his blushing complexion. “It was actually something I was wishing someone would do for me…”

“Don’t worry, there is much more where that came from” He reassured you as you nodded gently.

Letting the time tick by as you stayed in his arms, the two of you enjoyed the comfortable silence between the two of you. As both hands of the clock made their way towards midnight, he leaned his head down, resting it against yours as his hands slowly moved to your sides.

“You ticklish?” He questioned as his fingers danced along your sides, his fingers landed on one of your tickle spots as you curled up in his arms, trying to get away from his fingers as your laughter filled the car.

“Got ya!” He smiled against your skin before kissing your cheek gently.

“Are you ticklish?” You innocently questioned as your hands slowly untangled themselves from his hands.

“Maybe…” He looked away from your eyes, revealing the truth that he was ticklish.

Tickling your fingers against his sides, he curled up and brought you closer to him as he twisted and turned under your touch. His laughter filled the car as you couldn’t help but beam at the small victory.

“Alright, now you’re just having too much fun” His handsome smile outfitted his lips as you gazed into his twinkling eyes.

“Maybe~” You sang back as he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you in tightly against him.

Staying against each other for another minute or two longer. He kissed your cheek gently as he pulled away gently.

“May I walk you to your door, so that I can still be in good standing with your parents?” He questioned as you nodded.

“I’d like that, I’m sure they would too” You told him as the two of you untangled yourself from one another before you exited the car.

Waiting for you to join back up with him, he held your hand in his as the two of you walked slowly to your door. Stopping just around the corner from your door, he turned around and gently looked into your eyes.

“May I kiss you goodnight?” He questioned, his hand gently resting on your side as you nodded gently.

“You may” You whispered as your pair of lips met his.

Sparks coupled with butterflies ignited your heart as he pulled you against his form, his arms wrapped around your waist securely causing you to feel safe and loved as his lips gently moved against yours. The kiss was soft, yet full of emotions as his hand reached up and cradled your face before he pulled back and gazed into your eyes.

“Goodnight, my pretty lady friend” He smirked, knowing that he gave you that nickname before the date.

“Goodnight, my cute dork” You giggled, calling him by his own nickname.

Walking you to your front door, he pulled you in for another hug before you bid one another a goodnight before stepping through the front door to see your family smiling at you. Turning around to close the door behind you, you watched his figure move into the darkness of night as a smile couldn’t be kept from your lips.

Talking with your family about the night, you headed up to bed, still waiting his text that he made it home safely. Laying in bed, your mind reeled over the wonderful evening as a text came through your phone.

Opening up the unread message, you smiled seeing that he made it home safely. Chatting with him for a few more minutes, the two of you began to drift to sleep. Even being hundreds of miles apart comforted by the night you two spent together and the words of gratitude and hearts full of thankfulness towards one another. Patiently awaiting the next time the two of you can make some more memories together.
