Two weeks, that’s how long it’s since I told Kyungsoo I would be his light. That means that I was now immune to Satansoo attacks, it also meant I was the first to eat, most importantly though that meant I’ve had a short haired boy sleeping in my bed for the past two weeks. I could feel the heat from the sun shining through the window. I kicked off the blanket covering my body, throwing my feet onto the floor. I walked softly making sure to not wake him.  Closing the door behind me, I began to walk downstairs. I could hear the voices get louder as I got closer. All eyes were on me as I reached the bottom step.

“You know Kai is gonna kill you right?” Chanyeol questioned

“Yeah if he finds out you’ve been sleeping shirtless in the same bed as Kyungsoo you should just right your will now.” Chen voiced

“I’m only keeping him company, it’s not like any of you have tried.” I said feeling defensive

“Uh actually we have tried,  all of us.” Lay argued back

“Well-” I was cut off by loud footsteps that belonged to Kyungsoo. His face was so bright,he looked so happy.

“Kai is being released from the hospital today.” He said “They said management will bring him to the venue.” I could feel the excitement in his voice.

“Well let’s make sure we’re there to greet him.” Suho said as he ushered everyone out of the kitchen

When we arrived at the venue we were greeted by our stage manager and other staff members.  There was no sign of Kai, I turned to look at Kyungsoo only to find him pouting. I walked over to him and threw my arm over his shoulder.

“Look Kyungsoo I know you're whipped and all but could you at least act like you’re happy without him.” I joked

He smacked my chest as I laughed “I’m not I was just hoping that he would get here first.” he said

I stopped walking making him stop with me, he stared at me with confusion.  “Does this mean we aren’t going to spend time with each other anymore?.” I asked “Cause I don’t want that to be what this means.”  He opened his mouth answer but he was cut off by a loud voice. “Kyungsoo!”  I felt him let go of my hand I hadn’t known he was holding. I watched him run towards Kai, all I could do is watch. I walked onto the stage where the rest of the group was.  “I think I’m gonna be sick.” I said looking at the couple. We all laughed but I didn’t feel like it was a joke. Their Kaisoo Reunion was cut short our stage manager prepped us to start  rehearsing.

We had been rehearsing for about a half an hour. We’d just finished Artificial Love that was which was the only time I could even be close to Kyungsoo, due to Kai stealing him from me.  I know he didn’t belong to me me but that didn’t mean I couldn’t be selfish. We were now moving onto solos, Kyungsoo was first. The music began to play I didn’t even listen to the song, I just know when his mouth stopped moving I immediately jumped up. “Woo go Kyungsoo.” I yelled. As I sat down I caught Kai glaring at,  If looks could kill I wouldn’t be dead but I might be the in in the hospital next. I felt someone grab me by my shirt pulling me away from the stage. I couldn’t see who it was until they let go of my shirt. It was Baekhyun

“What are you doing?” he asked sharply

“What do you mean?” I asked

“Clinging to Kyungsoo all the time, being over touchy.” he said

“Can I not touch him.” I asked defensively

“No you can’t, I get you’ve gotten closer recently but you need to chill with the affection, he’s Kai’s boyfriend remember.”

“Yeah.” I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from saying anything else.

“Good” he said grabbing my hand walking us back to the stage.

We finished the solos, skipping the talking sections and going straight to the final set. The first song was One and Only.  I could only think about the conversation between Baekhyun and I, specifically the part where he reminded me of the fact that Kyungsoo wasn’t mine. When my part came on I could only think about the words as I stared at him. “I want you,: stay by my side : ain’t nobody but you. The song ended and I felt my eyes become wet, I blinked them away before anyone could notice.

When we’d finished our van had come to pick us up. I went to the back of the van as I tried to block out everyone. When we arrived  I immediately disappeared into my room. Almost an hour had passed, I’d heard everyone including my roommate.  I continued to toss and turn until I couldn’t take it anymore. I stood from my bed quietly leaving the room like I had done this morning. Sneaking down the steps and out the backdoor. I stared at the sky like Kyungsoo had. I heard the door open and close behind me.  

“Sehun what are you doing?”  I ignored him still staring at the sky trying to find an answer.

“I think.”  I stopped unsure how to say what I wanted to.

“You think what?” he asked

“Remember when I said I wanted to be your star?” I asked as I turned to face him

“Yes, why?” I could tell he was confused

I could feel my heart beating faster as I walked closer to him. He didn’t move, he stood there waiting for me to come to him. I slowly cupped his face, stopping as I waited for him to push me away but he didn’t.  I leaned in pressing our lips together, I closed my eyes before stepping away from him

“I think I want you to be my star too.” I said as I walked back inside.
