He would always go outside at one fourteen in the morning. The morning! Everyone else seemed to be oblivious to it.  Not me though, I noticed from the day it started. I would’ve thought somebody would have done something about it, but no nothing’s been done. So I’ve taken it upon myself to put a stop to this once and for all. As I slipped through the slightly cracked door silently I could make out the silhouette of his small frame. I watched him silently waiting for something to happen. He hadn’t moved, it was as if he was frozen.

“I can’t believe I missed sleep for this.” I muttered lowly

“Well it's not like I asked you to be here.” A voice spoke

I almost fell to the ground in shock.

“You knew I was here” I asked shakily

“I’ve become really good at noticing when someone’s behind me.” He answered

“Wait you mean I’m not the first to follow you out here.” He shook his head before answering me

“You’re the last actually.”  My eyes widened at his revelation

“Well the last is always best the anyway.” I stated proudly

“More like obnoxious.” he muttered

“Why are you even out here, It’s been a month since you stated this and it’s ruining my sleep patterns.” I questioned him

“Well it’s been awhile since I’ve seen Kai.” he sighed

I tried to hold in my laughter as I spoke again “You mean to tell me you come out here to cry about your boyfriend, he’s injured not dead Kyungsoo.”

“I know that but I just miss him.” He voice sounded lower than before

“And how does looking at the stars help you with that.” I asked confused

“The stars remind me of him.” he’d said

“How?”

“ Jongin is like a star he could shine even through the darkness.”

I could almost feel the emotion from his voice, it was so bittersweet. Without thinking I grabbed him by the shoulders pulling him into a hug.

“Sehun, what are you doing?”

“I want to be your star.” I mumbled into his hair

“W-what?”  his voice was laced with confusion

“I want to be your star when Kai can’t be or even when he doesn’t seem as bright, I want to be your light through the darkness.”  I declared to him as I hugged him tighter

A few seconds had passed before I felt his arms wrap around me just a tight.
