Prologue

I was seven years old when my dad said those words to me. It was strange. I didn’t understand what he’s saying or what he’s implying but he looked serious and I knew he meant those words.
Two months later it happened.
I heard a big bang sound coming from my dad’s study. I ran downstairs, still in my pajamas, my sights were still blurry as I was awoken all of sudden. I walk slowly toward my dad’s study. The door was slightly open and I could see bright lights beaming through the slight gap. I heard people talking. I swung the door open gently and took a step in. I saw a pool of blood on the floor and then I found where it came from. My eyes were widened and my heart was thumping like never before. I saw my dad’s eyes shut open, his face was stiff and his body was frozen. He was holding a handgun, probably trying to shoot his killer but obviously he failed to defend himself.
