Seungcheol knew better than to make Wonwoo’s relationships his bussiness, but he couldn’t deny that he had made a habit of observing the two of them — Mingyu and Wonwoo, Wonwoo and Mingyu — when they were together and he happened to spot them across campus or around town, and he had developed a sensation of guilty pleasure that he experienced whenever he caught them doing anything even slightly domestic that couldn’t be considered to be strictly platonic, like sharing their coffee with each other or sneaking away from their group of friends at a party to ‘smoke alone’ (but always together.)

Maybe Seungcheol could blame the lack of development in his own romantic adventures on his odd obsession with the relationship between his roommate and the dorky freshman that he was just watching from the sidelines.

Seungcheol and Wonwoo are juniors in college and have been roommates ever since sophomore year, and friends since long before that. Wonwoo usually acts aloof around people and show little (if any) interest in comitting to pretty much anything, be it people, family, friends, school work. (He was only ever good at comitting to the occassional book or film, according to Seungcheol) However, this is why Seungcheol takes note of the freshman his roommate begins to spend more and more time with, but even as he consistently bothers the other about it Wonwoo denies any form of attatchment besides a completely normal friendship to the awkward male and while Seungcheol doesn't buy it — because come on, it was Wonwoo. His roommate hated socializing — but he zips his lips and keeps his suspicions to himself, settling for simply observing the development between the other two males.

One morning, an unfortunate (on Mingyu's part at least — poor guy) slip-up confirms what Seungcheol had suspected all along.
