“I love you Channie.” Chanyeol smiled looking down at his adorable boyfriend.

“I love you too Baekkie.” He said leaning down giving him a kiss gently on the lips.

Baekhyun giggled “You better get going baby or you’re going to be late for work.” Chanyeol smiled and nodded.

“I’ll see you tonight, have a good day at school, okay?”

Baekhyun nodded pushing Chanyeol towards the door of their shared apartment “I will, now go before you’re late.” He chuckled.

Chanyeol gave him one last kiss before leaving the apartment to head to work for the day while Baekhyun headed to his classes unknown to what was going to happen when he returned from work.

“Babe? I’m home!” Chanyeol shouted as he opened the front door.

Silence.

“Baek? Are you here?” Chanyeol tried again walking inside shutting the door and locking it behind him.

Still no answer.

Chanyeol frowned getting worried as he walked inside towards the living room where he found no Baekhyun, he headed then towards their bedroom where he found Baekhyun sitting on his side of the bed with his head in his hands.

“Baek? Why didn’t you answer when I called?” Chanyeol asked walking in setting his bag down on the floor at the end of the bed.

“Chan…” Baekhyun said softly.

Chanyeol raised an eyebrow “What is it?” he asked sitting down next to him on the bed.

Baekhyun sighed standing up running his hands through his hair “Babe… I got offered a scholarship in America by the dean today….” Baekhyun said softly.

Chanyeol stared at him “…What?”

“Babe… I’m going to America on scholarship to be a doctor….” Baekhyun said turning to face Chanyeol with an unreadable expression.

“You what…?” Chanyeol asked not fully believing his ears.

“I’m leaving tomorrow morning for seven years on scholarship to America Chanyeol.”

Chanyeol pursed his lips not knowing what to say he dropped his gaze to his hands “You’re really going…?”

“I am…” Baekhyun whispered.

Chanyeol sighed blinking back the tears that were threatening to fall “Okay…” he breathed “Okay….” He said again standing up and walked towards Baekhyun and cupped his face kissing him softly “I support you and I hope you do amazing.”

Baekhyun smiled softly leaning up kissing Chanyeol again “I’ll find the cure for cancer baby, you can count on it.”

Chanyeol smiled and placed his forehead against Baekhyun’s closing his eyes “I believe in you and I know you’ll do amazing.”

“I love you Chanyeol, don’t ever forget that…”
