Chanyeol wonders about the pretty-looking boy who was ever so aloof and unapproachable, looking nothing more than a painting whenever the latter peers out of the windows in class. He wonders what the headphones placed over the boy's ears are blaring about. He wonders and wonders. And mostly wonders on how to get into the good side of Baekhyun. Let's just say Chanyeol is not the type to learn his lesson even after many tries. Little did he know, Baekhyun is a monster.

"I like you, Baekhyun. Let's be friends."

... the boy standing across him, leans against the vending machine and sideglances the nervous boy who is at least a head taller than him. He looks disinterested and merely makes a hmph sound.

"What do you mean?" Chanyeol pouts and attempts to come nearer Baekhyun but Baekhyun backs off quickly, jumping away from the distance which is drawn closer. Chanyeol finally got a reaction from Baekhyun but this wary reaction saddens him. Baekhyun breathes in heavily and places his hand across his nose. 

"Go away."

Chanyeol blinks. 

"I say, go away."

Chanyeol stands there, smile disappearing as Baekhyun's chest heaves up and down rapidly.

Baekhyun briefly glances at him before turning his head away. 

"You should learn something." Baekhyun's voice is firm but his tone breaks in between the words, as if pained.

Baekhyun turns around and  walk away, blurting out, "Don't talk to a monster."

Chanyeol watches as Baekhyun limps away. He gulps slowly and again he wonders.

Was it his halluncination or did Baekhyun's eyes just turn red just like the fiery colour of danger signs and warning alarms?
