Do you remember that night, when we stayed up watching a television programme we had been looking forward to, texting each other at every funny moment, laughing in synchrony despite being twenty thousand miles away? I wonder what you were thinking that night. I wonder if you were happy.

I wonder if you were happy, for the time that we were together.

Even though you left, I'd remain grateful to you for bringing light to my dark, empty life back then. 

It's been a long time. Maybe now I'll move on, live and go ahead, but I won't forgot all that you've done for me.
