Do You Want To Get Sprayed Again?

I Just Needed Directions

Jin was on his way to meet up with Jimin and Taehyung, apparently they had something big to tell him. He highly doubted it; last time they'd said that, all it turned out to be was Taehyung finally reaching level 50 on League of Legends. So he didn't have any high expectations.

The sound of footsteps behind him alarmed him. Was it that stalker?

He reached inside his bag for the pepper spray he created. Yes, you heard him - created. He had blended in various items, like extra hot chilli sauce, garlic juice, and jalapeño peppers. Call him crazy, but he wasn't going to let that stalker get away this time. The tap on his shoulder gave him the cue, and he turned around spraying the stalker's eyes.

"Excuse me, I was wondering if you-Ah! !" He cried out in pain, covering his eyes and aimlessly fumbling around. Seokjin just watched in satisfaction because finally, finally, he'd caught him.

"I finally caught you!" He exclaimed in triumph. Now, he'll think twice before doing this. "That'll teach you for stalking people!"

"Stalking people?" The green haired male asked, still appearing to be disoriented from the liquid irritating his eyes.

He was so proud of his concoction. Maybe he could start a business with it. He wasn't sure what the name could be, but Taehyung and Jimin could probably help him with that.

"Don't try and act dumb, I know you've been stalking me these past five days." Although, he wondered, had his stalker had green hair like that? He wasn't sure. No - no, he could've easily dyed it to make it look like he was a different person.

"Okay, no, listen, I think you've misunderstood. I'm just-" the other tried to explain, but Seokjin wouldn't allow him to.

"Are you calling me blind? Because I won't hesitate to spray you again!" He threatened.

The other male slowly opened his eyes, squinting at him.

"I didn't say you were, and please don't spray that thing again, my eyes are literally on fire right now. And I assure you, I'm not a stalker. I just needed directions," the green haired male explained, his hands held up in surrender. He placed his hand down, too. Was he really speaking the truth?

No. This was a trick, he thought.

"How can I believe that?" He snorted. "How do I know you're not trying to deceive me by saying that?" He asked in an accusatory tone. He wasn't that easy to fool.

"Because I'm not. Plus, I'm not particularly skilled at acting, so there'd be no way I would be able to deceive you. Believe me, I just want directions - I've been wandering around here for more than an hour now, and honestly, I'm getting nowhere." Judging from the desperation in his voice, he realised that the other must be speaking the truth.

"Oh my god." He said, his eyes wide. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! Are you alright?!" He exclaimed with worry. He really shouldn't have acted so irrationally.

An idea popped into his head and he pulled out his water bottle. He opened the cap and splashed the liquid onto the other's face, causing him to stumble back before gaining ground again.

"What the ? I thought I told you I wasn't the stalker!" The taller male exclaimed in disbelief. He pursed his lips because honestly, he found it amusing.

"Would you calm down? It's just water, it will ease the irritation from your eyes." He assured.

The taller rubbed his eyes with his hands, and he blinked as he looked at him.

"Can you see now?" He questioned the other. He hoped water was enough to ease the pain because he didn't know how else to help the taller.

". I think I'm in love." The other blurted out and what did he just say?

"What?" He asked, his brows raised in suspicion because did this guy just say what he thought he said?

"Uh, I-I mean yeah - yeah, I can see clearly now. Thanks," he said with a nervous chuckle, scratching the back of his head. He was definitely sure he'd heard right, but decided to dismiss it. He found this guy amusing.

"No need, I was the one who sprayed you in the first place. Sorry about that again," he said, smiling apologetically.

"Don't worry about it," the taller assured, "I guess you couldn't help but be cautious - this is quite an isolated area."

"It is, but it's one of the reasons I like living here. It's always so peaceful and - ah, sorry, you're not here to listen to me ramble." He cut himself off with a laugh. "What was the address you're looking for?" He asked instead remember the reason why the other male was here for.

As if he'd just realised himself, the taller whipped out his smartphone and showed the message to him. Once he'd read the address, he just looked at the other in disbelief because really? How had he been unable to locate it? - This guy just kept getting more and more amusing.

"Okay, I don't know how you couldn't find the place, but just take a right at the end of the road here, and then another. You should see it right as soon as you take the second right," he instructed the taller male, with the addition of small gestures so that the other knew clearly which way to take. Though, he couldn't help but think that the other wasn't paying attention to him. "Got it?" He said, looking up at the taller.

"Oh, yeah - yeah, I got it, thanks!" He turned around and starting walking aimlessly. He knew it. He sighed in exasperation.

It had always been like this. He understood that he was good looking, but he really wished people would stop staring at him like that.

He noticed the green haired male stop, and he turned around, opening his mouth, but he knew what he was about to say.

"Hey, um, can you maybe-"

"You didn't listen to a word I said, did you?" He remarked with a knowing tone. The taller just smiled apologetically, causing him to sigh exasperatedly again. "You really need to listen to people when they're talking to you - and it's rude to stare, you know?" He pointed out.

He started walking in the direction of the address, not waiting for the other to follow him because really, he should have listened.

They took a right when they reached the end of the lane, then another.

Now, the taller shouldn't have any problem.

"You know which floor it is, right? Or do you need help finding that too?" He asked jokingly.

"No, no, I can find it. Thanks for guiding me here though, ur..." The other male was trying to catch his name, wasn't he?

He just raised an eyebrow at the other. No one had ever tried this method on him before.

"You want my name?" He asked with a smile, to which the taller smiled at nervously. "Do you want to get pepper sprayed again?" He said, reaching inside his bag. Though, really he was only kidding.

"Ah - actually, I'm getting late! I'll be going!" He rushed into the entrance, causing Seokjin to chuckle at the other's behaviour.

"What a funny guy," he remarked, his lips curving into a smile. He shook his thoughts aside, and decided to head to the café he'd promised he'd meet with Jimin and Taehyung.
