Frustation #1
NeffyShortiesThe black haired girl was caressing her brows exhaustingly when her roommate walked into the kitchen. She brought some breakfast from the coffee shop next to their flat. Yoona had been talking about this particular shop since a few weeks ago – said they had the best almond croissant ever. Taeyeon didn’t quite believe it. Yoona only had two categories of food ; extremely good or good. There was no such thing as not good when it came to food.
“Here’s yours. Try. You won’t regret it.” The taller girl threw the paper bag right in front of Taeyeon. “And wipe that sad face out of the window. You’ve been doing that way too often.”
“Thanks,” Taeyeon mumbled under her breath, deliberately avoiding Yoona’s last sentence.
Yoona watched Taeyeon chewed without blinking. Lowkey hoping her friend would at least share what bother her.
“I’m waiting, by the way.”
“For what?”
“You telling me what’s been going on in your life. It to see you sad all the time.”
“I’m fine.”
“Clearly, you’re not. I’m not blind, moreover, I’m not stupid. Clearly, again,” she shifted a little from her seat. “Correct me if I’m wrong, it’s about that girlfriend of yours, isn’t it?
“What about her?”
“Taeyeon, I know you well enough to say it’s not working. If thing that supposed to make you happy turns you into this –” Yoona gestured the other woman in the room, “pathetic human being, then maybe you should re-consider your life choices.”
“You know nothing, Yoona.” Taeyeon rolled her eyes. “You’ve only known me a year.”
“Intensely.” Yoona gave her a pointed look. “You can’t deny that.”
“I won’t,” the smaller girl smiled a little. “I’m glad I met you.”
“I know. Now spill.”
One thing Taeyeon never did before regarding her relationship was to tell their problem to other people. When something came up, Tiffany and her resolved it by themselves. She remembered Tiffany once said that their problems were theirs to figure out. Outsiders didn’t have to know. No one understands them like they do. Intervention from anyone wouldn’t may anything better, instead it’d only make the problem bigger.
But Taeyeon had never felt this frustrated before.
