“When I say clamp the artery, you clamp the artery!”
“But the tumor is right there, just a small cut and it’s gone.” Tiffany defended herself.
“You don’t get a say in my OR, Doctor Hwang! That is my patient!” Taeyeon yelled loudly. Several heads turned to the scrubbing room, they could listen the shout indistinctively.
“But–”
“She could’ve lost so much blood because of your selfish action.” Taeyeon hissed in wrath.
“She’s not dead. We saved her–”
“I saved her!” Taeyeon pointed at herself. “You didn’t! You messed up!” The attending shook her head in anger. She turned away facing the wall. She was incredibly mad at Tiffany at the moment. “You’re lucky. But don’t depend on fortune too much, you’ll run out of it eventually.”
“It was not luck. I know what I’m doing, Tae–”
“It’s Doctor Kim, we’re in the hospital.” Taeyeon kicked the button as she washed her hands.
Tiffany ignored that sting remark. “You’re not being fair. I did a good work.”
Taeyeon snorted in disbelieve. “Listen to yourself, Doctor Hwang.”
“Alright, that’s it–”
“I can’t even look at you right now.” The shorter woman grabbed a tissue harshly then wiped her wet hands. “Think about what you’ve done. Till you can figure it out, you’re off my service.”
Then she stormed out, leaving her soon to be wife dealt with her own annoyance.

“What’s with your face?” Sunny laughed when she saw Taeyeon walked into the longue.
“Shut up.” She squatted down, searching the leftover sandwich she brought this morning. She was not hungry, she just needed distraction.
