Dara dialed her friends number in the hopes of him answering her call. 

She was about to give up when he still didn’t answer her call. However, on the third time she tried calling him, after the fifth ring, “ Yes? “ He asked.

“ You’re grumpy. “ She tells him. From the other end, he can hear the smile on her voice. Dara cradled her phone between her neck and shoulder as she picked up her books from the table at the library, where she can be found for the past few days.

When he didn’t reply, she automatically juts her lip, and pulled up what she hopes was a convincing “ I missed you “ voice. 

She heard him let out a chuckle. He may not now it, but the months that they have communicated, she had developed a liking towards her mysterious friend. 

“ Well…” He starts, Dara can hear that he was greeting the people around him. She pressed the phone to her ear, in hopes of catching someone  call out his name. Try as she might, it looked like her friend went to a secluded place, wherever he may be. “… I saw that you were busy with school, and your boyfriend. “

Dara pulled the phone away from her ears and looked at the screen in question. “ Boyfriend? What is he talking about? “ 

“ I am busy at school, but I think you got me confused with another girl. I don’t have a boyfriend. “

He couldn’t help but smile to himself with her last statement. “ You don’t? “

“ I don’t.” 

Both of them didn’t speak for a few seconds, before Dara broke the silence, “ I’ve got to go. I still have an exam to take. “

“ Good luck to your exam then. “

A few hours after the exam…

“ Why do I feel so drained… “ Dara complained as she massaged her shoulder while walking out of her classroom. 

“ You can say that again. “ Mino tells her as he took her bag. Dara felt her face get warm with what he just did. “ Last exam for the week?” He asks her. 

She nods her head in response. Mino let out a smile while he grabbed her wrist and pulled her out the University. “ Let’s celebrate. I know I need one.”

“ What? But it’s getting late. We may get locked out. “ 

Mino stopped walking, faced Dara, bent down so that he can be at eye level with her. “ What are you afraid of? Being locked out from the dorm tonight? Or being with me? “ 

Dara face grew warmer with his last question. She punched him on the shoulder, as he let out a laugh. Of course Mino knew her little crush on him. She didn’t have to tell anyone because she was too obvious. Even their nosy landlady knows about it.

“ Come on, I know a pojangmacha near the dorm. “

After two rounds of Soju, chicken and fish cakes, the two heads for the dorm. While walking, Mino, out of nowhere, blurts out his question, “ Do you already know the identity of the creeper that talks to you over the phone? “
