He leaves the pub when it receives too much of customers and when it gets too noisy of his likings. He sways here and there a little, but he’s not too drunk though. It’s just odd no matter how many bottles of alcohol he takes, he just can’t get that drunk. It amazes some people.

He stops his walking, and grins at the sight in front of him. They’re here. “Hello, I’ve been wondering when you will come,” he says mockingly.

Two men were standing straight next to a shiny black car. It’s a very expensive car, not to mention. Jonghyun knows who owns that car as he rides them a few times long ago. He makes his way to them. When he reaches them, they grab him by the arms and shove him inside the car. Jonghyun, slightly tip off, obeys. He expects to see the man he’s wanted to see inside, but he’s not there. Maybe he’s waiting at his place.

Whatever, he thinks. He slumps down on the backseat and falls asleep. They’ll wake him up when they arrived. And this might be the last time he sleeps in a car, so…

Someone hit him hard in the head, causing him to wake up and sit rather abruptly. He groans while rubbing his aching head. “You people and the way you wake people up.”

“We are here,” one of the men in slick black suit says. Jonghyun rolls his eyes gets out of the car. He gazes at the mansion in front of him. “Ah, it’s been so long since I came here, eh?” he asks the men. But instead of answering, they push him to the mansion. “Stop pushing me. I can walk on my own.”

The door is opened wide for the three of them, once inside another man comes to them. “Ah, Jongsuk, how are you?” Jonghyun asks in a friendly kind of tone. Jongsuk glowers at him and leads them across the wide hall to the magnificent flight of stairs. Jonghyun knows well where they’re taking him, he wants to tell them he knows the way, there’s no need for them show him around. But he believes that they believe he’s going to run away of they leave him alone. And Jinki wouldn’t like that.

They stop in front of a door which Jongsuk knocks twice before turning the knobs. He opens the door for them and there is Lee Jinki, standing with his back to them, clad in a very handsome suit, his broad back makes Jonghyun’s shudders. If he could just leans his head against it…

“Sir, he’s here,” Jongsuk informs. He is bowing slightly though the man doesn’t even turn his head.

“Okay, you may leave,” Jinki says. Jongsuk pushes him inside and leaves the room, he doesn’t forget to close the door. Jonghyun stands there awkwardly with his hands in his pants’ pockets. And then he moves to leather couch on the right side of the study room. He surveys it, “Nothing much have changed, huh? Everything is still the same. You ought to renovate the house sometimes, Jinks,” he mumbles.

Jinki shuts the book he’s been reading and that shuts Jonghyun up. The man finally turns to him and Jonghyun’s heart gives a jolt at the sight of the man’s face. He chokes a little which make Jinki smiles in triumph. “So, you still have the hots for me then, Kim Jonghyun?”

Jonghyun scoffs, “As if.”

Jinki round the study and goes to sit across Jonghyun, the only thing that separates them is the coffee table. Jonghyun leans back against the backrest as though he’s been here for a very long time. They are staring at each other for some time, unblinking, that finally Jonghyun gives and looks away because his eyes start to tear. Jinki grins even wider.

“Let’s cut to the crap, where is Taemin?” Jinki asks coolly. Jonghyun clenches his teeth.

“You must be such a moron that you failed to find him when he’s basically right under your nose,” Jonghyun says with the same tone as Jinki’s.

Jinki leans his hands on his knees. “Of course… he’s still with the vets, then? I thought he’s made his decisions to move away. I guess he finds the humans are his family?”

Jonghyun laughs, “You talk about humans like they’re some kind of filth when you’re a human too. Well, part human, I guess?” at this he receives a blow in the face. He slumps down on the couch. He chuckles and sits up. He tastes blood in his mouth and his cheek hurts like hell. He glares at Jinki but he’s still smiling at the man mockingly, “You still found that insulting, huh? If you think being part human is disgusting, why don’t just you stay as a filthy b--- you’re or die?”

Jinki jumps on top of him then and punches the hunter in the face over and over again. “How many times do I have to tell you – to stop – calling me – a filthy b--- – and – a – human?!” he stops then and gets off Jonghyun, whose face is bloody and swells.

Jonghyun laughs, “It’s so adorable of you that you still find ‘a filthy dog’ is insulting too.” He touches his face and flinches. This man when he punches people… He turns his head sideways to look at Jinki, who’s already on his seat back across him, through his blurry eyes. “Jinki… will you ever going to stop?” he asks weakly.

Jinki eyes him with such fury. “I’m not going to stop until I have the Healer in my hands.”

Jonghyun sighs. He’s very determined, then. “Listen, why did you want to bring him back to life? You know how nasty he was to you. I don’t understand. What if when he comes back to life, he’ll kill you? Since that’s what he’s been trying to do all this time? And you are making my efforts of hunting him and killing him for you to vain.”

“Whatever you’re saying isn’t going to change my mind. He’s the only reason I can get –“

“ you, Jinki. You’re already so strong, why would you need more power and getting stronger?”

Jinki eyes meet his. Again, they are having the staring competition. And this time, Jonghyun wins. Jinki looks away some time later. “Jinki, I’m sorry to say this but you’re so stupid to think that you’re not the real Alpha just because you’ve turned by some Alpha from other pack. And that you think, with him coming back to life, with him giving you his title will make you the better Alpha when you’re already are.”

Jinki smirks at the hunter, “You’re a human. You don’t understand anything. So shut the f--- up.”

Jonghyun sighs and gets on his feet. He makes a beeline towards Jinki, he stands in front of the werewolf before settling himself on the werewolf’s laps. Automatically, Jinki puts his hands on the hunter’s waist. Jonghyun stares deep into Jinki’s eyes. He misses this moment, of them being so close and full of love. It’s been so long since they got this close. Jonghyun’s eyes trails down from the Alpha’s eyes to his nose and to the plush lips. his own he leans down and kisses those plus lips. Jinki replies the kiss quickly. They kiss like they have never done it before, they kiss like their lives depends on it. Jinki pulls the hunter closer to his body meanwhile Jonghyun has his fingers in Jinki’s hair, massaging his scalp.

Jonghyun breaks off the kiss and moves to Jinki’s cheek and then to his neck. Jinki stretches back his neck so Jonghyun can get more of it. Jinki moans when Jonghyun bites on his neck. He gives Jonghyun’s back rubs. “I should be killing you today,” Jinki says with moans in his throat.

Yes, that’s why he has his men taking the hunter to him. He has to kill the hunter that once was his lover. But, what is he doing now?

Jonghyun pulls back from Jinki’s neck. He rests his forehead on Jinki’s. He gazes on Jinki’s face, the werewolf has his eyes tightly closed and he’s breathing hard due to their intense kiss. “You don’t have to kill me now,” he whispers.

He could feel Jinki shudders at his words and the werewolf then nods his head and pushes the hunter down softly so that he lies completely on the couch meanwhile having himself on top of the hunter.

Jonghyun doesn’t want to cry but he does eventually. He’s that emotional.

The moment Seulgi comes down for breakfast three days later, she is greeted with the view of Taemin in Gwiboon’s hugs while the two of them are being hugged by Minho. Taemin has his face buried in Gwiboon’s neck, Gwiboon is patting and the man’s back. Seulgi hears her saying words of encouragements like “It’s okay,” “He’ll be fine,” “He got away once, he’ll get away again.”

Who ‘he’ is, Seulgi doesn’t know but the sight kind of makes her heart swells so she climbs back upstairs and gets into her room. She decides to come down some time later when she thinks they’ve done getting all cuddly. She pouts slightly. They do look like a perfect family. She feels very much unwelcomed to this family. She hasn’t been hugged by anyone that she can call family for too long. She misses the feeling. She sighs sadly.

She leaves the room twenty minutes later and she finds the men are already on the dining table, Gwiboon is preparing breakfast in which Seulgi hastily goes to help. “Morning, Seulgi. I was just thinking of calling you.” Seulgi grins. From the corner her eyes, she notices Taemin is staring blankly at the empty table while Minho is looking rather worriedly at the man.

When the food is served they have their breakfast in silence. The only sound is from the television that’s showing the 9 AM news. Seulgi can’t ignore the heavy tension around the table. She almost wants to choke herself as long as they do something. She breathes out softly and turns her eyes towards the news. They’re reporting of some kid missing. Then they move to on a hill climber found a body on top of a hill yesterday.

“It is reported by the police, victim, named by Kim Jonghyun, aged 35, was murdered three days ago. Further investigations-” the newscaster’s next words is cut off as she hears a loud crash. She turns and sees that Taemin is on his feet staring hard on the TV. She notices he is shaking so does his pupils. Gwiboon gasps and has her hands clasp on , Minho doesn’t react much but he shows signs of dread.

She turns back to the TV and there is a picture of the victim on the screen, a very handsome man smiling at her. He somehow looks very familiar to her. Then all of sudden another crash is heard and when she turns her head again Taemin and Minho are gone.

Gwiboon goes after them and Seulgi follows. They are on the steps of stairs when she hears Minho shouts, “Where do you think you’re going?”

“Where else? I’M GOING TO KILL HIM! LET GO OF ME!” Taemin roars. The women are on the landing and they watch Taemin is fighting to get away from Minho’s grasp.

“It’s no use, Taemin,” Minho half-shouted. “You’re going to be killed before you did to him.”

“I DON’T F--- CARE! HE KILLED HIM AND I’M GOING TO KILL HIM!” Taemin bellows. There are tears rolling down from his eyes.

“Taemin…” Gwiboon sobs. “Taemin, please don’t.”

“Taemin, he knows what’s coming to him. You’re not going anywhere. I’m not going to let you. You are to stay here and do whatever he asked you to do,” Minho says sternly.

Taemin fights for a few minute before he slumps down on the floor. Then he cries like he does when he’s at the park. Seulgi, though clueless, goes to him and hugs him. He cries in her arms once again.

Minho sends Taemin up the stairs and Seulgi insists on having Taemin to rest in his room. She’s sure he wants some privacy. Besides, it is his room so he has the right to have it back whenever he feels like to.

When Minho comes down not too long after, he goes straight to his room at the back, claiming he needs some paperwork to do. The stressed look he’s wearing worries Seulgi. Meanwhile Gwiboon, the woman has stop crying at once but she’s still sniffing and sobs a little. Seulgi stays with her behind the counter. She has lots and lots of questions. She’s dying to ask but… she feels like it might not be the right time to. She huffs.
