Rope tightening around his neck, squeezing the skin in and cutting of air. His eyes flew around the small space he had stormed into, hands shaking too much to lock the door. He knew what was happening. Of course, he did. This was not near the first time something like this had happened. Way too often small corners or alcoves was filled with his rapid breathing, which he could never hear himself. Tears streaming down his face making the makeup bleed along with his heart. And fingers tearing at his bare throat, nails leaving red scratches. All to just make it disappear, let him breathe but he couldn’t, and, and!
