-restarting-

"I'm so sorry, sweet cheeks. I couldn't protect you like I promised to," His tears fell onto her face, his voice cracked as he tried his best to handle the wound that was gushing out with blood after picking out the big shard of glass that was in the lower region of her abdomen. Both of them could vaguely hear the sound of firearms firing in the air, both of them only hiding behind a thin wall to avoid being shot. The girl whinced out loud, her hand at his white shirt, coloring the plain shirt with dust and blood. "It's okay, oppa," She mumbled weakly, her vision was slowly blurring as the long haired girl focused at him. Tears were b at the fact that she couldn't see him properly, reaching out a hand to cup his face lamely. At the same time, someone had entered the premise they were in as they couldn't hear any shots anymore.

"Call an am-ambulance or something. She's ble-eding. God, she's ble-eding," He choked up, tears falling onto her face as he tried his best to pressure the wound. She flinched a bit when the man pressured it a bit too much, lethargicly putting a hand over his right hand that was covering her wound. Jisoo tried her best to put on a smile to reassure the man but instead, she had only frowned as she started to cough terribly, some of her blood splattered out, making the man's right hand shook as he did his best to pressure it.The man started to sob even more, pulling her weak body towards him even more, resting his head at the crook of her neck, whispering the words as if it was a mantra. "Don't die on me, Nam Jisoo,"

She chuckled softly for no reason, her vision was so blurry that she thought she was going to be blind. She quietly groaned, her head still pounding from the hit that she received from before. The tears that she held in for so long, finally fell as Jisoo cupped his face, wishing that this won't be the last time that they saw each other."I love you, oppa," Her voice above a whisper and her right hand fell limply against her side, her eyes slowly closing on her as the man who held her kissed her softly with tears still trailing onto the girl who was at the brink of her death. "I love you more, Nam Jisoo," The man cried his heart out, holding the woman's head against his chest, kissing the crown of her head, ignoring the big lump of hair that was soaked with her own blood as he rocked both of them forward and back, wanting this to only be a nightmare.

She sat up almost instantly on her bed, sweat trickled down her neck as she shivered from how hot and cold she felt stimultaneously with the aircond on. Jisoo looked around and sighed deeply, pinching the bridge of her nose with her right hand. Her vision instantly fell over the simple charm bracelet that settled around her wrist. Jisoo raised an eyebrow, raising her right hand even higher to level the charm bracelet with her sight of vision. Her eyes softened a bit at the sight of the charm bracelet, her heart squeezed painfully as if it was telling her something. The long haired sighed, resting her back against the head rest for a moment, pinching the bridge of her nose at the sudden pain that was pounding in her head. Fluttering her eyes close for a brief time, she parted her eyes again and her gaze wandered around the room she was resting. Jisoo couldn't help but cringe when she suddenly notice that condition of the room she rested in. It was so plain and empty that it reminded of how her heart felt. It's as if something important was missing.

Jisoo shook her head and pushed the thoughts away, raising her right hand again, "How come, I don't remember buying this," She spoke by herself, looking at the charm bracelet again as she the white butterfly pendant that caught her focus. Putting her hand away, she groaned painfully, massaging the temple of her head as Jisoo could feel an oncoming headache. Sighing, the long haired woman pulled her hair together and tied it up, having a thought to cut her hair when she was released from the hair which was tomorrow. Jisoo couldn't help but smile, relieved that she was finally leaving the hospital after staying there for almost three months now and laid her back against the hospital bed once more.

The woman stared at the ceiling above her, wondering what had happened in the span of those few months before her accident occured. the white butterfly pendant with her left hand, she slipped into a fitful sleep with the last thought of finally going home tomorrow. Nam Jisoo was starting afresh life tomorrow.

He patheticly smiled as he watched Jisoo slowly slip into dreamland, hoping that she won't have any nightmares and wil sleep well. Carefully leaning away from the door's small window that he had peeked in, the man sighed and ruffled his messy hair as he leaned his back against the wall opposite from the room that Jisoo was resting in. The young lad stared at the door temptingly as he his chapped lips, tempted to just burst into the room and meet with the girl he was in love with. Pushing himself away from the door, he took a few steps nearer to the door that lead to Jisoo as the young man looked around cautiously and the coast was clear. He could easily enter the room and no one would stop him. His smile widened at the thought of seeing Nam Jisoo but faltered as another thought crossed his mind, forcing him to stop himself. Would you want to put Jisoo in danger again ? The man stopped walking, laughing lamely as he joked by himself.

"Idiot, you don't love her anymore. Why are you even here ?" He laughed, holding his tears back as he scratched his non-itchy scalp and his eyes fell over the charm bracelet he wore. A tear slipped and he faltered for a moment, looking at the black butterfly pendant. He shut his eyes closed for a moment and opened his eyes again, letting his vision fall at the door of Jisoo's room and forced himself to tear his gaze away. Clearing his throat, he slowly walked away from her room, dragging his body to the elevator. Glancing at the door of her room for one last time, the ends of his lips twitched, knowing this would be the last time he'll have the chance to see Jisoo in person. Looking away, he awkwardly looked at his sneakers and patheticly smiled. "This is really goodbye, Nam Jisoo,"

The dark haired man laughed emptily, his heart squeezed as he walked further away from the room and pushed the 'Down' button almost immediately, wanting to just get away from here. The elevator dinged loudly, signifying it's arrival and he entered the elevator as soon as the doors of the elevator opened. He faked a smile at the people in the elevator and pushed the 'Ground Floor' button. His heart fell along with his smile when the doors of the elevator closed on him, knowing there would be lesser chance for them to meet again after this. I'll miss you, sweet cheeks.

He choked a sob, holding his tears as the man looked up, forcing himself to not cry, still waiting for his turn to get out from the elevator. When it was his turn to get off the elevator, he had went straight for the exit without looking back, blending himself into the crowd of people with a new determination to start his new life again without Nam Jisoo in it.

Both of them were restarting again.
