Description

Yongsun ran away from the city to live a simple life in a simple fishing town, but when her luck runs out, she is forced to confront her feelings once and for all. 

Foreword

Welcome! Beyond the Sea is my first contribution to AFF and to the beautiful Moonsun fandom. 

A bit about the story:

This story is inspired by Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea, which is a 100-page epic on the struggle between an old man and a fish. The old man faces obstacle after obstacle, but he perseveres. In my version, Yongsun takes over the role of the old man, and a dramatically different story unfolds.

There are fun moments, gay moments, inquiring moments, and solemn moments, but I hope the metaphor of the fish will stay with you as it has stayed with me. 

The title is inspired by Bobby Darin's "Beyond the Sea".
