What's wrong?
Don't make me smile. For days you had been watching Heejoo's behaviour. You were really worried about her because you
had no idea if her father was dead, but she had just lost her mother. Strangely things seemed calm.
After the first night of crying, Heejoo had got up regularly and refused to talk to me. Slowly things
changed for the better and she started to be herself again. It was only at today's dinner did you
realize what was wrong.
"Heejoo~ah, I was thinking of having your mother's funeral at the end of this month, what do you
think?" Heejoo looked at you blankly. "Mother?" Your heart sank, you didn't like where this was going.
"Mother is on a trip Hana-unnie! She always does that!" She smiled sweetly at you. You knit your
eyebrows together and looked at her.
"Heejoo, do your remember the car crash 3 days ago?" You carefully said, monitoring her reaction.
Heejoo just looked confused and continued eating her curry. *Well I guess she still is a child, but is it
best to keep her in the dark for now?* Yet this made things easier for you. You could finally get her
back into school (you had called in that she was sick) and and you thought of enrolling in high school
again. Placing a neutral expression on your face you cleared the table.

You straightened your second-hand uniform and stepped into Seoul Highschool for the Arts. It had
always been your dream to be an artist but there had been no one to encourage you. Nervously
gripping your backpack you entered your first class.
"Ah! Hana-sshi! Come in, come in!" the teacher beckoned at you. You uneasily step up to the front
already feeling sick. Coughing you quickly introduce yourself and scan the room.
"Kim Hana?" You looked up in shock, and noticed a pretty girl staring back at you equally in shock.
Seconds passed by and she smiled, "Im your child hood friend Eun-jeong!! Don't you recognize me?"
You felt relieved, for a second you had thought that your father had filed a missing person report and
your name was already known. But that was too farfetched. Eun-jeong motioned you to sit next to
her, and you gladly followed. You harbored no ill feelings to her, you knew that the advice she had
given you had been for your own good.
*God why do we have to meet again?* Eun-jeong though nastily, but outside she was all smiles. She
had harboured a grudge against you since childhood, for being prettier, smarter, and more popular
than her. (LOL they were only seven!) She vowed to make herself better in everyway. But by then you
had already moved and her intentions were unknown to you.
