Description

In which Chanyeol makes a big mistake, and has to deal with the 5 stages of moving on. 

 

Foreword

Chanyeol cradles his head in his hands and feels hot tears pricking his lids. He couldn’t lose Kyungsoo, he’d never lose him. He shakes his head, the longing he feels for the other man a burning sensation in his gut. Kyungsoo would never ever leave him. Maybe if he says it to himself often enough, he’ll start to actually believe it.

Chapter 5: Please make sequels please author-nim please. Just curious how will Chanyeol treats Kyungsoo after the fresh new start. The seconds chance given to Chanyeol.

Anyway, it was one of interesting fic you wrote. I could feel the depression you're showing. I'm mad at how stupid Chanyeol was. I totally understand how hurtful Kyungsoo felt for someone who led him and suddenly leave him. I like how you played very well with the readers emotion (read:me) hehehe.

Chapter 5: I cannot put into words how perfect this fic is. It has just enough angst to make your heart ache but also have some touching moments. Kinda like bittersweet. I really admire your writing in this fic, it really captured the emotions really well! And the plot is something that i can relate to and probably everyone else too. Thankyouuu authornim for this wonderful fic!!

Chapter 5: This was really good. Though its my first time reading chansoo, I really enjoyed this.
The stages were captured wonderfully and I felt his raw emotions each time. I could empathize with Chanyeol and Kyungsoo, so I never really could choose a side.
I could imagine starting something and it being all too much at once and lead you into doing something you will regret. It happens, mistakes are made and this is an example of how people learn from those mistakes. I like that you touched on that. Despite his royal up with Kyungsoo, he is purely and utterly sorry and most people can tell that he has feeling for Kyungsoo. The remorse and guilt are there, and his repentance shows even more so. I did think he deserved a second chance, and was more than content to see Kyungsoo ease back into his life. Which is also realistic because these things aren't easy to get over and require time.
The changes that Chanyeol have made is definitely a good thing. A mistake horribly made, but a lesson well learned. Such a good moral and one that could teach us readers something about life and how not emotions are not something we can control during certain moments.

Favorite line- "Chanyeol should be used to it by now, given the industry he’s in. But the spotlight’s never been lonelier from where he’s standing."
This really encapsulates his loneliness. God I love this line. Its both clever and devastating and fits really well with the story because its centered around the music business. Very great line here.
