It was one of these days for you, you disliked everything,

you disliked the way he talked,

you disliked the way he walked,

you disliked his laugh.

Everything about him just pissed you off or made you feel like crumpling up into a ball and pulling the covers over your head.

But most of all,

you missed him.

You missed his kisses in the morning,

you missed his hugs,

you missed his comforting presence,

you missed that look when he had you pinned down on the bed,

..you just wanted him beside you.

But no, that wasn't what you were going to get.

He was starting to fall for someone else.

You didn't even see it coming.

It hit you so fast when you had just realised the way he talked to you was suddenly different.

You couldn't admit it to yourself since, well, he was everything and you didn't want to lose him.

You felt like brushing it off and saying to yourself 'he loves me, and won't leave me'.

So when the day arrived when he broke the news that he was dating his childhood friend, you didn't know what to do.

You looked outside and felt as if the rain was simply the falling of your own tears that day.

You had cried that much.
