Umbrella
A series of inconvenient situations
"This is completely my fault."
Whispers in every street she was passing by.
"I just need to make it there. No one needs to know."
Eunji gave herself cheers as she kept on walking as fast as she could.
"How can they not notice?" She just realized... "I'm soaking! Eish."
The heavy rain was not unusual, but her completely soaked figure in the streets of Seoul was more than interesting for anyone that saw her. Actually, people couldn't recognize her, it wasn't common for people to look at someone else when they were already in a hurry or with someone else, and that was the situation right now. Luckily for Eunji. She just wanted to get home, take a shower and a good nap. Yes, nap. Because even when it was already night she had been working on some stuff and sleeping was not in her vocabulary for the moment.
Like said before, she had been working hard for the past days so staying until late at the recording studio became normal. Way too much to the point that her manager wouldn't worry, her leader wouldn't call her, and she would be so careless to leave all her stuff at the van, including her phone and wallet. All these things she was missing the moment she went out of the building to take a cab home. But well, that wasn't the worst thing that could happen, right? Eunji was fine with walking home, that would probably take quite long but she didn't feel tired. That definitely changed. The dorm wasn't close and she knew that, the problem was, that after walking probably half her way there, it started to rain. But it wasn't an enjoyable and soft rain, plus everybody knows that rain in Korea isn't the safest...
"Damn contamination, I better not end up having a natural bleach, huh?" She kept on talking to herself.
She took a deep breath and tried to hide her face from people in every stop light, seriously today wasn't her day. Even in the studio she was making stupid mistakes and she couldn't hit the right notes, even when she was dancing the steps didn't come out as they should and her choreographer was scolding way more than usual. You know? Like one of those days when you wonder if waking up was a good choice. Everyone kept saying that it wasn't the usual her and that bothered Eunji. Disappointing people really putted her down.
... And earning every single red light on her way home was completely pissing her off. Upset and wet. She was about to explode and that wasn't the best place for a scene that would surely end up in the news. Not necessarily the right type of publicity she nor her group needed. And like that she crossed the street once the light turned green. It wasn't far anymore from the dorm, if she walked fast, probably only ten minutes left. Only ten more minutes, she thought looking in front of her at the hill she had to walk.
"Damn you, Seoul."
She couldn't help but to let those words slip from .Unfortunately, Seoul may not have mountains since they were cutted down, but not completely. Hills remained in most parts of the city and she took the wrong path to go home. No more exercise would be needed for her in at least a week. Suming up her drenched and heavy clothes, the constant and heavy rain plus this hill and the already one hour walk home; she was fit.
"What..?"
The rain suddenly stopped. It was late at night but there was people around so she didn't really pay special atention to her surroundings, she just wanted to get home. Eunji lifted her head to the sky due to the sudden calm and then the explanation came. Of course it did not stop raining, she could hear it clearly. And now she could even see the raindrops falling on top of her... thanks to the transparent umbrella that was shielding her body. In seconds her gaze turned to the owner of this life saviour object. None of them stopped walking but her pace lost the speed from earlier. It took her second, probably more than it should, to recognize him. Or so her expression showed, her jaw dropped and not so calmly she was pointing at him with her index.
"That doesn't show good manners, don't you know?"
He only laughed silently at her reaction and kept on walking, knowing the destination of the beautiful girl that he was lucky to find.
"I am really sorry," Eunji reasoned after her shock. "but ho-"
"Don't think I am a stalker, I saw you passing by while I was taking some pictures."
There she saw that the guy was carrying a camera around his neck. And everything made sense. If you put apart the fact of not having an umbrella, the weather wasn't actually that bad. She just nodded, not really knowing what to say. To be honest, her mood wasn't the best so meeting him was great since she was not getting wet, more than she already was, anymore. But she could explode at any moment and him being there didn't help. Eunji didn't want to explain herself or anything, if she could say it out loud, she didn't want to talk to anyone right now.
"At least dry your face and you can cover your hair, don't catch a cold."
A small towel was handed to her, he probably us
