"Honestly Unnie, staring at her like a creep won't get you anywhere. Go talk to her or something."  Somi huffed, already annoyed by the lack of attention her best friend was giving. She rolled her eyes at the sad sight of Yoojung drolling on her lunch over the cheerleading captain, Kim Doyeon. 

 

"And make a fool out of myself? Yeah, because that will definitely get me to base two with her." Yoojung replied, without taking a second off of the captain. She and some other girls, who also were extremely popular, sat just two tables away from Yoojung's. She was so near but yet so far. Yoojung sighed, just why did she had to fall in love with someone unreachable? Doyeon was the schools princess and Yoojung was..well just Yoojung. Catching Doyeon's attention seemed nearly impossible. With the possiblity of Kim Doyeon noticing her being under minus zero, the least Yoojung could do is appreciate her beauty, which was something Somi obviously didn't get.

 

"Unnie what base are you talking about? You aren't even on base one, for gods sake. And by the way, you still eating that taco? It would be such a waste, if you keep drooling on it.." Yoojung took her gaze away from her goddess to give Somi a weird look. She gave Somi her taco nonetheless. 

 

"You just see Jeon Somi, I will promise you, one day Kim Doyeon will talk to me and we'd be friends, I guess." 

 

"Not lovers?" 

 

"One step at a time" 

 

"Whatever you say, Unnie.." Somi said, while munching on her new acquired taco.
