When he was five, Cho Kyuhyun was a big fan of christmas eve. He would get to bed early (not like any other days), so he could wake up very early with Ara to open the gift. And because he was a smart kid, Kyuhyun took notice that even when he was very naughty for some of the days, Santa would always granted him with lots of gifts. He concluded that Santa must be very very loved him.

Then he went to elementary school, and becoming a big boy. A very very naughty boy. But he was also smarter, because he knew that on the some of days, he had to be extra nice. Or Santa would not bring him what he wanted, especially the new set of game station that he was drooling on.

But all of that changed when he started the middle school. Being 12, he started to secretly sleep late, very very late, to play the new quizzle. And that happened even in christmas eve. He also developed a very high curiosity level. Which included to see if Santa was really a big and funny guy. So he waited until midnite and with a very careful steps he watched Santa put his gift. But who he saw was his father, not Santa. That night, Kyuhyun found out that the real Santa was his parents, and that's why even when he was a bad boy, he still got a present.

A really clever boy that he was, he never opened his mouth on this discovery. Not even to Ara. Although he suspected Ara might already aware too. And he started to learn how to develop a poker face when their parents chatted about Santa. And he still got the presents that he wanted. All this Santa "hide and seek" stunt was finally stopped when he went to high school. His parents never told him and he never asked. He also accepted that since then they should exchange gifts and not only received.

And when he was 17, SM adopted him. An almost only child (Ara was abroad since he was still in middle school). he learned how to deal with 12 hyungs. And his poker face skill he mastered during Santa's discussion in his family living room, was a great deal to help on the adjustment period.

Well, until he met a little girl named Seo Joohyun. Who was 14 but still as pure and as innocent as 10 years old girl. And has a very very beautiful forehead. Seohyun, that was how her friends called her, was usually come to their practices with her unnies. But unlike the others, she would sit quietly in the peripheral of the stage, and watched them sing and dance with her beautiful big eyes.

Kyuhyun was never a shy boy, but he could not understand why he always had a funny feeling everytime their eyes accidently met. No, not a bad one. More likely that he was afraid she would know that he thought her eyes were the most beautiful thing in the world.

So he stayed away from her and tried his best to take some distance. Which even him thought was a bit odd, as she did not be seen affected at all.

Until the fateful 2008 christmas eve, when their bands and others were touring in the first SM Town World Tour and the first time Seohyun had her christmas eve far from home.

He was walking out of their after show party, to get a fresh air while thinking when he stopped seeing christmas eve as a special thing. And there she was, sitting in a bench while moving her legs (her oh so long legs) back and forth and looking straight to the sky. He felt bad because he kind of interrupted a private moment but he just could not move his eyes of her.  She was 17 now and he still voted her eyes as the most magical thing. At that very moment, he swore she looked like an angel that fell from the sky.
