Kim Taeyeon and Kim Taeyun are twins born on March 9th 1989. On the day of their birth, they lost their mother and so was raised by a single father. Being the oldest of the two, Taeyeon loves her younger twin sister Taeyun with all her heart. She's willing to do anything for her younger sister just so that she can see Taeyun's smile. With motherly instinct, Taeyeon promises to protect Taeyun from harm. After a visit with Byun Jinyoung, Kim Minhyuk (Taeyeon's and Taeyun's father) agrees to an arranged marriage between Baekhyun and Taeyun. Upon hearing this news, Taeyun cries her heart out to Taeyeon because she already has a boyfriend and comes up with an idea. Have Taeyeon switch place with her in the arrange marriage and become Taeyun. Seeing the kind of desperate situation her younger sister is in, Taeyeon agrees with Taeyun to take her place as Baekhyun's wife so long as her younger sister is happy with the person she loves.

Mr. Kim belted out a hearty laugh and patted his long time friend on the shoulder, "I'm so happy for you hyung," he stated, "your son Baekhyun has managed graduate as the top student." 

"Thank you Minhyuk-ssi," Jinyoung replied, "how about we take a seat?" he suggested. Both elderly men walked over to the vacant sofas in the middle of the room. "Sooae!!" Jinyoung shouted for his secretary. The door to the room opened and a middle aged lady came scurrying in.

"Yes Jinyoung-ssi?" she answered.

"Please bring us some tea please," Jinyoung ordered.

"Right away sir," Sooae replied and left the room. 

"No need for tea hyung," Minhyuk said. 

"I can't have my guest sit around eating or drinking nothing," Jinyoung teased, "that would be very impolite of me."

Minhyuk chuckled. The door to the room opened with Sooae re-entering with a cart of drinks and snacks, "the head chef suggested that I also bring some snacks for you guys," Sooae explained as soon as she saw Jinyoung eyeing the cart filled with goodies. Sooae rolled the stainless steel cart over to the two men and began placing assortments of snacks on the coffee table.

"Hyung," Jinyoung began, "why did you call me in today? Over the phone, you seemed to be in a...hurry," he said and tilted his head to the side, trying to recall Jinyoung's tone of voice from earlier.

Jinyoung gave out a laugh and stood up from the sofa. He strolled over to his desk and waited patiently as Sooae finished her business and left the room.

"Hyung?" Minhyuk called, not quite understanding why Jinyoung was acting the way he was.

Jinyoung grabbed a photo frame off of his desk and spun around to hand it over to Minhyuk, "That was Baekhyun when he graduated from high school," he reminisced. Minhyuk grabbed the photo from Jinyoung and stared intently at it, "that was about five years ago," Jinyoung walked over a photo hanging on the wall. In the photo was a recent photo of him, his wife, and Baekhyun.

"Hyung, what are you trying to say?" Minhyuk asked, still not quite understanding Jinyoung.

Jinyoung took in a deep breath and spun to face Minhyuk, "Baekhyun knew well that once he finished his education in college, his duty was to come and take over my position as the CEO while I retire," he explained, "and along with that, Baekhyun knew well that he must marry soon and proceed on with my genes."

Minhyuk doesn't reply as Jinyoung walked back over to him. Jinyoung sat back down on the sofa across from Minhyuk and placed both hands under his chin, "Minhyuk, I called you in today was because I would like to propose an arranged marriage with your daughter Kim Taeyun."
