Letters To The Trainee

Description

Lee Jihoon is a confused middle school student that has no idea what to pursue as a career except for one in music. With only one year left, he must decide whether music is for him or not but the disapproval from his parents causes him to stop music altogether. When his teacher confronts him about his disappearance from the music club, Jihoon simply explains that music is not for him, that he wouldn’t make it in the industy. Jihoon’s teacher can tell that Jihoon doesn’t care for anything else but music and with that he asks Jihoon to enroll in a month long K-Pop training course in Pledis Entertainment to see if the industry is for him or not, along with an email address of someone the teacher is close with who is a trainee now.

“Think of him as a penpal from afar. Don’t worry, I’ll help you get into that training course. They’ll easily accept someone like you, Jihoon. You have a gift that most kids your age has yet to achieve. Who knows, you may even get chosen to be a trainee.”

Once Jihoon’s summer vacation starts, he heads over to Seoul for the training session with his mother with hopes that may music is his future. Let’s not forget the long string of messages between him and the stranger calling himself Cheol, who is pushing Jihoon to continue his dream of music.

Foreword

This is my first story I have ever posted on here. Honestly, I have no idea where this story will go or how you all will like my writing. I'm not the best writer in the world so I'm sorry. If you want to subscribe, you may. I'm not really asking for much but maybe some nice feedback. Thank you~.

Please ignore the cover photo. I'm attempting to edit a good cover. ㅠㅡㅠ
