Saying I Love YouHi everyone, I know I have been absent for a long time... I fully intend to finish this fanfiction and continue to write, despite the fact that Gary, and now Jongkook and Jihyo, are gone. I've just been really busy with finals... but the next chapter is almost done, so bear with me as I work out a few kinks.
Yes, I'm sure you have all heard the news of Jongkook and Jihyo leaving now. I am still waiting to hear the verdict on whether or not it is true that they were essentially FIRED from the show. Jongkook was apparently told to leave a couple days before and Jihyo only found out the day the news reports were released. That, if true, is completely unacceptable. As it is, I have currently lost my respect for the people in charge of Running Man. As a result, I may not follow Running Man as much as I did before, though I still care about Jae Suk, Suk Jin, Haha, and Kwangsoo who are left.
I really hope this did not and does not have to happen. But I promise I'll continue writing! I will continue to write as if the members had never left the show. My love for 7012 will not die out because of this all. I will also continue to support the members individually, even if I do not support the show.
I already wrote my appreciation for Gary in my oneshot fanfic For Running Man's Kang Gary, so I'll write my thanks for Jongkook and Jihyo here.
Jongkook oppa- Running Man can't function without its commander. There would be no more suspense, no more fear, no more jaw-dropping moments where he guesses the EXACT number of cameras- 108- that the hunter had on one episode, no one to keep Kwangsoo and Jaesuk in check. I'm really, really going to miss Jongkook. Thanks, oppa, for 7 years of running down the hall, screaming and acting very much like a Sparta. For showing us how cool and smart you are- so much more than just brawns. Good luck with Turbo and your other shows!
Jihyo- Jihyo is irreplaceable. There's no other girl who is as cool, easygoing, and down to earth in the Korean entertainment industry. As the only girl on Running Man, you'd think she'd just act weak all the time... but she won really frequently, all by herself. She wasn't afraid to get dirty or get violent xDD Thank you, Jihyo, for sticking around even when things got tough, and even when you felt like leaving, and when you were busy with acting. Best of luck with your acting career. I'm still rooting for you and Gary ;)
