Chanwoo sighed as he walks away after visiting Yunhyeong’s house. It’s been 3 days since the day that he confessed to Chanwoo and ever since that day the younger couldn’t seem to get himself to see the blind man. Every time he searches for him at school, he’s not at his class or anywhere to be exact. Going to his house didn’t help either. Yunhyeong’s mom will always be the one to open the door saying that he’s asleep, or some other excuses that Chanwoo knows was a blantant lie.

He was frustrated and angry. Not at Yunhyeong, but himself. He knows he has nothing against people who are attracted by the same . Gosh, he knows that he is never in fact a homophobe. The words came out of his mouth to him were all just what he could think of. He thought that if he pretended to be someone who hates gays, Yunhyeong wouldn’t experience heartbreak as bad as if Chanwoo saying he doesn’t love him back. Well, maybe he was right. Yunhyeong’s heart is probably not broken, he just hates him now. He would never expect Chanwoo to have a mindset like that and it probably angers the older. That’s for the best, probably. At least that’s what Chanwoo thought.

Somehow, even when he knew what would happen, he still regrets it. The look on Yunhyeong’s face when he said how a man should be with a woman keeps replaying in his head. He felt guilty. The fact that he doesn’t want to see Chanwoo made it worse. It is now only 16 days until he could see him and all he has done was cause more misery into his life. What kind of friend is he?

Just as he was having those thoughts in his mind he saw the said man running towards his house, the one Chanwoo has just left a few moments ago. Chanwoo was confused as to why the older was running until he saw a dog who was right behind him, chasing the older obviously trying to bite him. Chanwoo who saw the whole seen dropped his jaw and instantly panic as it was obvious that the mad dog was way too close to the older and he had no chance to escape, unless..

He sighed in relief even with inevitable pain surrounding his right arm and blood streaming out immediately right in the spot where the dog bit him after it releases his arms.

Yunhyeong who was unaware of what has happened behind him stopped his steps exactly as he noticed that the dog wasn’t chasing him anymore and the sound of someone muffling. He then turns around and tries to sense at anything in front of him.

“I-Is someone there?” Yunhyeong asked still standing at the exact spot. Chanwoo was speechless. He wanted to see him for 3 days and when he finally does see him, he ran out of words to say. How pathetic is that? Chanwoo then took a deep inhale and exhale as he gets ready to stand up and reply the older.
