prompt: tremble

Seunghyun is standing in the center of an amusement park. He’s surrounded by colorful ribbons and balloons and also candles that lead the way towards him. On his right hand, he holds a very big bouquet of roses, heart thumping crazily waiting for his lover.

“The balloons and ribbons are colorful because—” Seunghyun closes his eyes to remember the script, “—because you color my life. A-and… Ehmmm… The rose… Ehm…”

He hides his face behind the bouquet and curses himself. His hands are trembling, not to mention legs are shaking. Been years together, he should’ve could handle any anniversary events. But still.

“Hyunnie Sweetie?”

He peeks from between the roses and finds Daesung is walking through the candles, approaching him. Daesung smiles at him so warm that Seunghyun’s heart skips a beat. The script are long forgotten and his head appears between the roses.

“My, my. My beautiful Seunghyun,” Daesung reaches out his hands and Seunghyun gives the bouquet. But instead of taking the bouquet, he cups Seunghyun cheeks, “More beautiful than the roses.”

He kisses Seunghyun softly, making the taller man trembling on his touch. Seunghyun pulls back after a while and he kneels before Daesung. He fishes out a red box from his pocket and opens it.

“Would you want to spend the rest of your life with me?”
