Hired To Be Killed
Description
He had been observing the red mailbox across the street for two hours. Still, he hadn't see what he had been waiting for. He pulled the glass nearer and took one last gulp of his drink, placing the now empty glass back on the small table. The silver ring on his left ring finger glittered due to his actions and he squinted his eyes to look at it briefly before returning his attention to the mailbox. And he saw it.
A man in his suit casually dropped a letter into the mailbox.
His lips twisted up in the slightest way.
Another ten minutes had passed before he finally made his way across the street towards the mailbox. Checking to make sure that no one paid any heed to him, he swiftly opened the mailbox and snatched the letter before turning to his left and strolled down the streets. Tearing the side of the letter, he pulled out a piece of paper and read the name on it.
Park Jimin.
The person he was paid to kill.
His eyes widened with disbelief, stopped in his track causing the man behind him to bump into his shoulder.
"Hey! Don't block the way!"
The angry man was ignored as he turned around and looked back to the mailbox which was now at the end of the street.
Knuckles white and hands in his leather jacket's pockets, he couldn't stop his hands from trembling with anger as well as the question that burned into his mind.
"Who do they think they are to even try to kill him?"
