Being tired is an understatement for Song Jae rim, he just got back from filming 'goodbye Mr. Black', and he was given rest for 2 days.

Jae rim was so close to peaceful sleep if it weren't for his phone ringing, "Hello?"

"Oppa!! I heard you were back from work? Can I go to your place? Please~" Song Jae rim sighed, he just wanted to sleep

“yah! I’m tired, stay at home with mom and dad, I need to catch up on my sleep, I’ll talk to you tomorrow okay?” and without further ado, he hung up on his sister, and went back to bed for him to sleep, but he spent at least an hour trying to get back to his sleep but he couldn’t and he would like to blame his sister for that.

With no possibility of him catching up on his sleep because he was restless. He stood up and made his own coffee, and he plopped down his sofa, He his TV and he felt his heart stop…

There is only one woman for whom his heart stops, and it is Kim So Eun, he watched as the woman he loved kiss her on-screen partner in her drama called, ‘the scholar who walks at night’. Seeing her kiss someone that wasn’t himself was heart-breaking, even if he knew that they weren’t dating it still hurt

Through all the pain that he was going through he couldnt find a single nerve in his body to hate so eun, in fact every single day in his life ever since that first shoot in wgm he has felt nothing but love and longing for the woman of his affection and even if it has been so long since he last talked to her, Jae rim's love for So eun increases everyday, and with it the pain...

The pain of knowing that even if you loved someone as much as he did So eun, he couldnt do anything to fight for her, the pain of knowing that the girl he loves may be in the arms of another tonight, the pain of knowing that the girl he loves wasnt the arms that will hold him tonight

Jae rim wished he never entered this relationship, because he did, full knowing how he felt for So eun, and the reason that he did was because he wanted to know if So eun would be jealous enough to fight for him, but alas, he had dreamed, but was woken up, and now as he sits by his couch, not wanting to go inside the room, because his girlfriend was there, waiting for him to come home to her. Oh, how he regrets even thinking of his plan to make so eun jealous, because now he is stuck, truth be told, he love Jo Bo ah, but only as a brother would a sister but now that she was his girlfriend, he did what a boyfriend would to a girlfriend but it was far from genuine...

What made Jae rim so tired was not the hectic schedule, or the irritating paparazzi, what made him so tired was that even in the confines of his own home he had to act, he acted like he loved jo boah more than a sister and it made him hate himself for what he has become...

Knowing this Jae rim can't bring himself to break up with Boah, afraid that if he did there would be nothing left to him, and hoping that if he didnt there would come a time that he would forget So eun and love Bo ah just as much...

With a tired mind and body, Jae rim headed to his and boah's room, making his steps silent, afraid to wake her up, and as he moved to lay beside her his phone vibrated by his bedside, curious as to whom called him, he looked at his phone, there was no name, only numbers, numbers he knew so well...for the person who was calling was the woman he longed for, Kim So Eun

With urgency, Jae rim stood up and ran out of his room and into the balcony so that he won't wake Boah up

Safe in the balcony, he answered, "Hello?"

"Oppa? Jae rim oppa?" Jae rim heard the slurr to her words and figured that she was drinking or was drunk, "So Eun-ah?"

"Oh! this is oppa!! oppa bogoshippo" Jae rim closed his eyes, hurt, knowing that So eun could only tell him what she felt when she was drunk.

"So eun, who are you drinking with? why'd you call? are you safe? you want me to go to yo-" cut by So eun's shouting, "Yah! I'm not So Eun, call me Jagi, nampyeon, please~~"

Jaerim sighed, he worried if So eun was safe, "So eun-ah, I'm not joking, where are you?"

"I'm not answering till you call me Jagi! jebal nampyon" So eun shouted, Jaerim felt his heart beat faster, it has been so long since he was called by that word, "arasso, arasso...Jagi~"

"yay! uri-nampyeon, choa-e (i like you), and because i do, i will tell you where i am~, I'm... at your front door." and true to her words, he saw her when he looked down from the balcony, with shock and nervousness, he ran towards the door and went out

" So eun-ah what are you doing here?" Jae rim whispered, afraid that boah would wake up and see so eun on their door step

"Oppa, didnt you miss me? cause I missed you a lot!!" So eun shouted, resulting to jea rim shushing her, " yah so eun, dont be too loud,"

Though he did not mean it, he had been the loud one, for he shouted at her, resulting to so eun falling to the floor, wailing like a child, "Jagi! mian, I didnt mean to shout, I was jsut afraid some people would see us and take it differently"

"so eun-ah please dont cry, whats wrong?" Jae rim asked unaware that an extra pair of eyes were now looking at them from where he stood earlier, at the balcony

"oppa, I'm so tired, why cant we be together? like in wgm, why cant we go on dates and tell each other 'i love you's, why?" So eun cried, tired of pretending she didnt care, tired of loving someone she didnt love

"So eun ah, you know why we cant..." Jae rim was speechless, it was the first time that So eun had verbally said and admitted that what she felt for him was real and that it brought her as much pain as it brought him not being able to be together

"Oppa, mianhe, I didnt mean to put you in this situation, its just that i cant take it anymore..." So Eun cried and it broke jae rim's heart, so he did what he felt was right and kissed her... the world stopped and in that moment it didnt matter who knew, what mattered was that now he knew that so eun was now also willing to fight for him, just as much as he would for her

"So eun-ah, saranghe, but we cant be together right now, we need to clean up this mess first, break up with Ho joon, and I'll break up with Boah, do you understand me?" Jae rim asked so eun while holding her face as he kneeled down beside her, so eun nodded, finally having a glimpse of hope, that she would be happy again, because she has been stuck in sadness and fear of not knowing what to do, and now that she took the step forward to what she hope was right, no matter how wrong what they were doing currently was

"Saranghae oppa," So Eun said as she pecked Jae rim for the last time, before she went home now that she was sober enough to go home without getting lost, "Nado, so eun-ah, nado..."

"annyeong oppa, see you~" So eun said, wiping the last of her tears, Jae rim waved goodbye feeling renewed and happy, and as he entered his house he realized, that it wasnt just his house, it was also boah's and boah standing in front of him was a great call back to reality

"I guess you never really moved on." and that sentence killed his happiness as he looked at boah's pained eyes...
