Seventy five years ago, the greatest war between human and vampires happened which was later dubbed ‘The Plague’. In this war, the White Sage - the greatest source blood vampire the history ever had – was killed. Almost all lineages of Old Blood Clans came from the White Sage and his death signified the loss of the vampire race. To prevent the vampire race from extinction, Viscera – a vampire organization – made a pact with Pharaoh. A symbiotic relationship is to be created in exchange for protection and preservation of the remaining vampires. Those vampires who didn’t agree with the new Viscera Code had rebelled and gone into hiding.

Currently, a new threat arises with the introduction of Coven – an organization composed of Reberus (vampire rebels) and its new vampire syndicate, The Seven Deadly Sins Project. They plan on breeding new vampires to overthrow the pact that Pharaoh and Viscera made and to create a world where vampires are superior to humans.

Agent Saber (Minseok), member of the Intelligence Division of Pharaoh, finds himself in between this chaos when his twin brother, Agent Xero (Xiumin) died forcing himself to succeed his role. In searching for the perpetrator, Minseok brought himself deeper into the vampire world when evidences lead him to his twin’s fiancé, mega billionaire and stoic CEO, Lu Han. Pretending to be The Fiancé by day and vampire hunter by night, Minseok realized that there is so much more than what he see and understand.

“You made the wrong choice when you agreed to be my fiancé; you made the worst decision when you choose to follow your heart.”

“No matter how hard you make it to be, no matter what the others say, you can’t deny the bond we have is stronger than any Silver Blades ever made.”

This idea has been plaguing my mind even before I wrote Of Shattered Wings and Broken Dreams and those suceeding fics but I keep on delaying it since I still have to update them. I've been craving for xiuhan vampire au and after all my efforts searching for it, I've noticed that this kind of au is very rare in the xiuhan fandom. (Like why? T.T) So here I am, finally writing my cravings. I know, I know that I still have two fics to update and some of you probably thought I have given up on those two but I'm not. I just wanted to get this out of my head. 

Updates would be infrequent (not only here but my other two fics as well) since I already have a job and it's really hard to be an auditor and writer at the same time. And this fic is really like my own daughter, this is the first xiuhan fic that I've written (even tough published late) and I wanted it to be well thought. I love vampire au very much and those who shared the same interest with me might find Black Blood Brothers and Blood + references. Yes. Those two are my favorite vampire animes.
