Evanesceretime, that devours all things
She wakes up from her deep slumber when she hears a scream echoing through the darkness. It’s a shrill, painful kind of scream, that seems to have originated from somewhere so distant and cold and b with evil. She only realizes that she’s the one screaming when the door to her bedroom opens with a bang and the rest of the house stumble in with varying levels of giddiness and ness.
The scream only stops when she finds a pair of eyes in the receding darkness, one bright red and one dark brown, stare into her own as strong hands grab her flailing arms, hugging her shaking body.
“Are you okay? What happened? What did you see?” Somehow, the panic in the other person’s voice soothes her and she manages to calm her beating heart and even out her erratic breathing.
“I- I’m,” she replies shakily, “I-I’m sorry. It was.. it was a d-d-dream. It w-was just a d-d-ream.”
“Oh, honey,” another person comes, nudging the odd-eyed guy away from her blurry vision, and a strong scent of roses fills her nose right away, sobering her up even more.
She finds herself in the embrace of her god sister, with her brothers looming around nearby, face painted with worry and concern, and also a hint of sadness. She doesn’t like it when her siblings are sad. They promised to always be happy together.

“Is it her again?” the dichromatic guy asks, and she picks up the anger and disgust in his voice.
She hates it.
She can only shrug weakly. “I-I don’t know. I’m s-s-sorry. I d-d-don’t know.” But her eyes betray her confession as tears start staining her cheeks. It’s as if her own body was scared of whatever she encountered in her dreams, even though her memory couldn’t recall it.
She feels a tender press on the side of her head, her sister pressing a gentle kiss, “You don’t have to tell us, sweetie. You don’t have to remember. You’re safe with us here. We’re here. It’s okay.”
And so she melts into her sister’s chest, tears dampening the thin layer of satin covering her sister’s s, while she sobs and sobs until she’s too tired to try remembering what was it that left her so broken.
A few moments before she slips back to the darkness that hurt her so badly just a few minutes ago, she hears faint whispers bouncing along the walls of her room.
“You could’ve protected her, Hyunsik. You’re the only one who could.”
Smoke rises as Shownu drags his cigarette. It’s honestly way too chilly for his bones to
