How Could I Not
Look At YouHayoung stayed silent for what seemed like an eternity to Sehun.
Sehun gulped.
What if he just ruined everything between them?
Their friendship would be over, she would have to move out, his mother would kill him...
Finally, a strange look crossed Hayoung's face, replacing her shocked expression.
Sehun found it even more concerning.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean... I just... Can we just... can we pretend I didn't say... all of that?" he babbled.
Hayoung just stared at him.
"Say something... please..." he pleaded.
What Sehun didn't expect was for Hayoung to start laughing. Hard.
She laughed so hard that tears began coming out of her eyes.
Sehun was baffled.
And slightly offended.
Why was she laughing at him?
"What are you laughing at?!" he muttered gruffly.
When the laughter finally stopped racking her body, Hayoung panted, "Sorry... oppa..."
Sehun pursed his lips together and glared at her, his pride hurting.
Hayoung caught her breath and uttered one word, "Finally."
"What do you mean by that?!" Sehun asked, still upset.
"Took you long enough."
"Huh?"
"You're way too obvious. I've been reading you like a book since I got here."
"You knew? That I... I..." he trailed off, his face turning red.
"That you liked me? Of course! It's not like you were hiding it."
Sehun was stunned.
After a moment, he remembered Jimin and asked accusingly, "Then why are you going on dates with other guys?"
Hayoung laughed in response.
Sehun glared at her.
"He asked me to get coffee and I told him that I had my eye on someone else. He told me we should just be friends then... and that the guy I like was incredibly lucky," she said, smiling at him.
"What guy?! There's another guy?!" he asked, concerned.
"Come on, are you that much of an idiot, Oh Sehun-ssi?" she said, taking a step forward, so that they were only centimeters apart.
Sehun was pretty
