Look At You"Hello?"
"Sehun-ah!" his mother's voice cheerful voice, full of aegyo, bursted through his cellphone.
He knew that tone. She wanted something.
Sehun sighed. "What can I do for you, mom?"
"How did you know I wanted something? Do I have a tell?" she asked incredulously.
Sehun simply laughed.
"Anyway... do you remember Oh Hayoung?" she asked.
Sehun was puzzled. It was a name he hadn't heard in years. Memories of a little girl he used to play with flashed into his head.
"Our... our family friend? The one who moved to America?" he finally managed to spit out.
"Yeah, her! Well, she's gonna attend the same university as you and she needs a place to stay... so I was thinking... she could take the spare room in your apartment. How does that sound?"
"Uh... sure," Sehun agreed reluctantly. He knew there was no point in arguing. 22 years of being his mother's son taught him that that woman never took no for an answer.
"Great! Then you can go pick her up from the airport at 6:30am tomorrow!" she exclaimed.
Sehun groaned. This was her plan all along. Not arguing was definitely a smart move.
"Okay..." he replied, feeling defeated.
"Get some sleep! I love you! Bye, son!"
"Bye mom, I love you, too..."
Sehun woke up to his alarm blaring loudly, signaling that it was time to get up.
It was still dark out. Confused, he looked at the time. It was 5:45am.
Why was he awake again?
His mother's voice intruded his thoughts, "Pick her up from the airport at 6:30am tomorrow!"
