Atrial Flutter
Description
It's so wrong, to be nursing these rushes of affection and gushes of admiration whenever I see you furrowing your brow in all seriousness at the latest patient case report. You don't go beyond formalities, you barely acknowledge me when I walk into the hospital every morning, you don't even look up when I speak up after mustering all my courage- but when I see a genuine smile light your face during conversations with your patients, or when you lift your eyes to make the slightest of eye contact with me- my heart just stops. How can you make me experience tachycardia and then cardiac arrest in a matter of seconds? I can't help that my heart has a predilection for you. I know it's impossible between us, a lowly nobody junior like me and a well-regarded senior registrar like you... But my neurons can't stop firing and my heart just desynchronises into abnormal rhythm whenever my occipital lobe registers your being...
