JAY PARK- Trip

My AUs Oneshots

“I took advice from my friend and pretended to trip in front of you to get your attention except I fell harder than I thought and now my arm is broken can you drive me to the doctor please?”

                It was my lucky week! I had finished all my midterms, my Uni’s soccer team had won their game and was going to finals, and last but not least AOMG was in town. I have been in love with Jay Park for as long as I remember but I had no one to go their concert with me but that was fine. I was already content knowing we were in the same city. Besides, I had seen him in concert before so I wasn’t all too sad about it.

                My friends and I walked to the dining commons from the soccer field and decided to stay in and have a girl’s night out. We watched as everyone was going crazy since we won and we were going to finals. They were all going out to celebrate and party the weekend away. My roommate’s family was visiting and her sister was here to visit us on campus so we decided to just relax and have fun together.

                We were all sitting down and laughing about stupid stuff and I was honestly satisfied with how our night was going. We spent the rest of the night talking about this and that and we headed to bed because we had to get up early to go have breakfast with my roommate’s family.

~~~
                We all woke up around 8 and got ready and left to go to the Ferry Building on the other side of SF. We all had a good time and had a delicious breakfast. We walked around the Ferry Building some more since they were having a farmer’s market that day.
                It was already 12 when we decided to head back to the hotel to put some stuff down. It was Sunday so we were just expecting to wind down and went up to the room to rest. After a while, we went down to the bar and had a few drinks. My other roommate called to tell us that she was outside the hotel so I went out and went to get her.
                She immediately smiled and waved when she saw me and of course, like an idiot, I jumped around and ran to her and gave her a big hug. She laughed, “Why are we so dramatic?”
                I shrugged my shoulders, “Who cares it’s fun.”
                Our other roommate ended up coming out as well and we all just chatted about our day. I looked around the lobby and my eyes landed on a guy sitting down on a couch in the lounge area. His hat was on pretty low so it was covering his face but I immediately knew who it was.
                Jay Park.
                I gasped and froze in shock and my roommates looked at me like I was crazy.
                “What’s wrong?” one of them said.
                I whispered, “Jay Park is sitting over there. Why is Jay Park sitting over there?!”
                “What?!” My roommates looked around and saw him as well. “Oh my god, go say hi!”
                I shook my head. “I can’t! Do you remember what we did earlier?! We were jumping like idiots.”
                She nudged me, “Come on, he did not see that. Don’t worry about! When will you get this opportunity again?”
                I glanced over at him again and we made eye contact. “! He just looked at me!”
                “The more reason to go say hi! He already saw you he probably knows you’re fan.”
                “He’s gonna think we’re stalkers since we’re just standing here and staring at him,” I pouted.
                At that time, he got up and started to talk to one of the staff members. They talked for a while and then he started walking towards the stairs to go down. The stairs were right next to us.
                “He’s coming this way!” my roommate said. “Say hi now!”
                Something in me was not letting me move let alone talk. I just watched him walk right pass me. He smelt like a mixture of cologne and coffee, it lingered even though he was already halfway down the stairs.
                “Girl, you better go before he leaves,” she pointed towards a sign that said “Valet”.
                I guess they were leaving to go to Seattle since their concert there was tomorrow. The concert staff came from the elevators with their luggage and placed them down at the top of the stairs. They left it there and went back to the elevators and I assumed they were going up to get more luggage. I took a deep breath but stopped breathing again as I saw the rest of the AOMG crew walked down the stairs. They were happy and chatting away and shouted when they saw Jay.
                “Jaebum ah!” Simon D shouted, “There you are, we were looking for you.”
                “Sorry I came down to get coffee before we go,” Jay said.
                I was so close to them that I was able to hear them conversing. This was seriously my chance to talk to them but I couldn’t get myself to do it. “Guys, I can’t I’m too nervous.”
                “Yes you can!” one of them nudged my shoulder.
                “I can’t just go up to them! It was already suspicious that we are standing here. I’m fine with just seeing them from here.” At that moment, Jay looked at me again and I blushed and looked away. Why did he keeping looking at me? Was there something on me?
                “How about this? We’ll just walk by and you can pretend to trip and fall in front of him!” my roommate said.
                My other roommate bursted out laughing. “That’s genius! Let’s do it,” she said enthusiastically.
                I rolled my eyes at them. “You guys are silly.”
                “You are literally the clumsiest person we know. We’ll just pretend we’re going to get our car at valet and you… trip over the rug or something,” she said while shrugging her shoulders.
                My other roommate egged her on and nodded her head. “Yes, that’s perfect.”
                I sighed and contemplated it. I was really a clumsy person, it wouldn’t be surprising if I tripped over air. I couldn’t bring myself to just confront them straight up so maybe this idea will work… I eyed my roommates and they smiled because they knew I was going to do it. “Okay how are we going to do this?” I gave in.
                They high-fived each other. “We’ll just walk down the stairs and have a normal conversation and then we’ll walk pass them and you just fall and we’ll be like, ‘Oh my god are you okay?!’ and then they will definitely have to help you get up,” one of my roommates’ said.
                “It’s that easy,” the other added in.
                I couldn’t help but laugh. It’s that easy, huh? “Fine let’s give it a try.”
                “Yes!” they both exclaimed. “Let’s go before it’s too late.”
                I fixed my hair and straightened myself up before giving them a final nod. We started walking towards the stairs and I saw Jay glance up at us again but-
                “Wait watch out!”
                Before I knew it, I had already tripped. Success right?
                Nope.
                I fell down the stairs.
                I landed with a thud at the bottom of the stairs and was face down when I had stopped. I felt a surge of pain come from my left arm. I heard a ton of feet running towards me and suddenly I wasn’t alone anymore.
                “Are you okay, miss?!”
                I looked up to see Jay’s face in mine. Suddenly the pain was gone and I was in awe of him, of all of them. They were all surrounding me and I closed my eyes in embarrassment. Really? Did you really have to fall down the stairs?
                “Girl, are you okay?!” my roommates were now at the bottom of the stairs and they helped me up to a sitting position.
                I couldn’t help but notice the growing sensation of pain in my left arm. I winced as my roommate tried to lift me up with my left arm. “Gah!”
                “I’m so sorry, my bag was in the way and before I could stop you from tripping over it you already fell,” Jay said. “Are you hurt anywhere?” he asked in concern.
                I shook my head and pretended to be okay but he noticed that I winced earlier and touch my left arm. “Ow, ow, ow!”
                “I knew it, you’re hurt,” he said.
                My roommates noticed that he was actually really concerned with my fall so they looked at each other and nodded without saying anything. They had thought of something. One of them whispered into my ear, “Ask him to take you to the doctor.”
                I looked at her as if she was crazy but she just nudged me. She had the look in her eye that said, “Do it.”
                I held onto my left arm and contemplated if I should actually do it or not. I already made it this far right?
                “I took advice from my friend and pretended to trip in front of you to get your attention except I fell harder than I thought and now my arm is broken… Can you take me to the doctor please?”
A/N: I you guys not but I actually did get to see AOMG at the hotel. LOL The meeting wasn’t as dramatic as this but my roommate’s family stayed at the same hotel so we went and there they were! I honestly didn’t think I would meet them but luck was on my side that day. So you can say this was based on a true story besides the last part, haha. All the dialogue in the story is basically the same as the ones from that day. Hope y'all liked it <3
