PROLOGUE

Time. 

Time flies like an arrow. Once the arrow is shot, it would only go forward. That’s probably why people always say that life is a journey forward. But is that really true? What about all those time travelling stories we've heard about, with that ever so fascinating time machine and the mysterious catastrophic consequences of using time travel? Are those really just imagination?

Well, at least that’s what people believed in until the late 1800s. Up until then, time travel was considered to be purely fictional. But on one fateful day, Khronos were being exposed to the world for the first time when an unknown man was seen appearing out of nowhere at the opening ceremony of the 1896 Athens Olympics. He was wearing sunglasses, the use of which only started to become more widespread in early 20th century, and a baseball cap at the time, shocking the world with the revelation. From then on, humans are being divided into two groups: the Khronos who have the ability to time travel to the past, and the Monospatials who are only capable of staying in one time dimension. 

The whole ordeal caused an age of darkness. The Monospatials were gripped with fear so they did whatever they could to make sure that the Khronos could not use their special power. Governments across the globe established Act 12, a law to have
