A week had passed and Taemin's smell was wearing away, each day she slept less and less. She started to wear exo's shirts or put them on the pillow as clothes. It worked at first, but after a day or 2 the scent faded and was replaced with her own. Chanyeol's hoodie was her last resort, she wanted to keep it for when she was desperate, which she was. She missed him, more than she wanted to admit. After 3 days of sleeping in his hoodie the smell was starting to fade. Jay was always tired, yet she could never sleep. It was starting to affect her work, so she drank tons of coffee to stay awake at work. She was miserable, but she didn't want to bother the exo members and be a burden on them becuase she knew they were just as tired, if not more tired than she was. 

She called Jongdae exactly at midnight on his birthday and wished him a happy birthday her gift already on its way to Korea. She got him a box full of goodies which included snacks and candies she thought he would like and a bunch of cute things like trinkets and stationary, she even bought him some plushies. She even added a cute Rillakuma doll she found, and put a sticky note on it saying that it was for Chanyeol. Somehow during their conversation she was able to keep  from breaking down. 

One day in mid october Jay finally broke down, the first thing she thought to do was to call Jongdae, who picked up after only one ring.

"Jay~!" he sang out happily putting his phone on speakerphone and setting it on the table with everyone around it

"Jongdae Oppa~" She cried

the boys started to panic, "Jay! Is something wrong? Are you ok?" Chen yelled into the receiver worried

"I can't sleep" she wailed, she was crying very hard

"Jay, how long has it been?" DO asked gently

"I don't wanna tell you" she choked out

"Noona, tell us" Kai said worried for his noona

"Since 2 weeks after Taemin left" she finally confessed

"Noona! That was almost a month ago!" Sehun shouted also worried for his noona

"How have you been sleeping?" Chanyeol asked quietly

"I was using Taemin's shower stuff and the bed still smelled like him. Then I started putting the clothes I took from you guys on the pillow to snuggle, but it wore off. and I was wearing Yeolie's hoodie to sleep but the smells starting to fade away and I'm so tired and I just wanna sleep" her voice cracked

The boys looked at each other, hearts breaking.

"come on noona! You can do it! only a few weeks left and you'll be back with us and you can sleep all you want!" Kai tried encouraging her,
