I wrote this without any plans at all to publish it. A story that I'd come across online had inspired me to write this, and I was planning on leaving it at just that. This was originally an assignment that I did for my Creative Writing class, and the rules for it had been to write out a complete story in ten pages or less. I wrote it out, had to shrink the font a little bit, edited it, and turned it in. 

I wasn't sure how I felt about this work. It felt a little too cheesy at times, a questionable plot. But, at the time, it reflected where I was in life and how I felt about the things that were going on around me. 

This work I publish as a way of celebrating. I'm celebrating my two year anniversary being on here, my first story on this site reaching 1000 subscribers, 3000 subscribers in total, my writing improving a lot over the years, and many more things. 

It's funny really, how I believe that these oneshots that I publish seem to be better than the full length stories that I post. Nonetheless, I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to do what I love; writing. Thank you readers for supporting me and giving me the chance to share what I love with you.
