Chapter 46
Rainbows“Welcome back”
Haebin unnie gave me a tired smile and removed her shoes before arranging them on the shoe rack. “I’m glad you look good. Were you eating well?”
If a good meal consists of colas, greasy burgers, instant noodles and kimchi, then, yes. I’m truly eating well.
“I am. At least I’m learning how to cook” I lied. Well, I don’t want her to worry. She’s already tired enough, I don’t want to add myself onto her huge pile of stress. I think it’s okay to lie for a good cause. Ha.
I took her bags and placed them on the couch. Haebin unnie followed me to the living room and once the sofa was within her reach, she threw herself onto it. Some cushions fell on the floor.
“Ahhh~ I want to quit working, it’s so tiring!” she whined and closed her eyes.
“Don’t” I told her and picked up the cushions. “What will you use to buy food for me if you’re jobless?”

I may not be the best dancer in our class, heck, that would be impossible, but at least I can confidently say that I’m improving. I’m good enough to stop myself from stepping on my shoelaces and my foot, or anyone’s foot in that case.
The class cheered and applauded.
I didn’t succeed in stopping myself from smiling and joined in clapping, too. We were all happy until Hoseok butted in.
“Not because you finished one round without any mistakes means that you’re all good enough!” Then he brought out his open palms, which caused everyone to fall silent. “Get back to your first positions and we’ll start polishing”
My mouth fell agape as the room was filled with whines and complaints.
Well, who wouldn’t complain? It was really tiring as hell and when we finally got to finish the routine without mistakes we don’t get a single ‘good job’ or ‘you worked well’?
