"JANG RI IN!" her mom called for her from the bottom of the stair case.
She tossed and turned in her bed, but it's no use, she can't delay it any more. She has to get up now, or her mom will come up to get her...She would do anything to avoid that.
"COMING" she forced her self to yell back.
She groaned as she pushed her self off of her bed. Then she got dressed in her school uniform.
She brushed her teeth then washed her face. Before drying her face she looked at her reflection in the mirror...
'I don't think I'm ugly...Not THAT ugly...' she thought to her self. She sighed deeply, then she pulled her hair into a pony tail and headed quickly for the stairs.
"I told you to get up early." her mom scolded her, when she sat down at the kitchen table to eat.
"I'm sorry" she mummered as her mom slammed a plate down in front of her. It was a fried egg on a piece of toast...No surprise there, she's had the same breakfast for over 10 years.
"Hurry up and eat, then get to school, and don't let us down this time" her mom glared at her.
She avoided the glare by looking at her fried egg on toast.
"ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME?" her mom screeched.
Ri In forced back tears as she nodded.
She had a 98 on her last test, and her parents flipped out on her. Her parents took turns guarding her at night when she's studying.
"I'm leaving" Ri In said as she stood up to grab her school bag. She didn't feel like eating breakfast anymore.
"You're so wasteful" her mom snapped as she took away the plate.
Ri In hurried out the door. She wanted to get away from that house as fast as she can.
She felt that a tear was dropping, she quickly lowered her head to hide it.
"Sorry" she gasped, as she accidentally bumped into someone.
She quickly wiped the tear away with one hand, then looked up to the person she bumped into.
'It's him' she thought to her self.
"It's fine, don't worry about it" he said, then walked away from her.
Ri In followed quickly behind him.
"Say..." he paused then turned around and walked to her side.
"Y-yes?" Ri In stuttered. Her gaze slowly made it up to his face.
"Even though we live in the same neighborhood, we've never introduced ourselves before. I'm Kim Junsu" he held out a hand.
"And you?" he asked her.
Ri In reached for his hand slowly.
"Jang Ri In" she replied him as her hand touched his.
"Want to walk to school with me?" he asked her.
She quickly nodded. Before she took her gaze off of his face, she saw a tiny smile flashed on his face.
It was the first time she has ever seen him smile, and it was beautiful. She didn't realize that somehow her lips curved into a smile too.
"What are you smiling at?" Junsu asked her.
She gasped. 'smiling? Me...smiling?' she was shocked at his statement. She hasn't smiled since...since forever.
"Anyways, let's head to school, before you're late" he reminded her.
She nodded again, then realized that she hasn't let go of his hand yet.
"Sorry!" she said quickly as she retrieved her hand.
"It's fine" he said as another tiny smile flashed on his face for a moment, then disappeared.
They walked silently to school together. Ri In took a sneak peek at Junsu once in a while.
"Oppa!" a few girls squealed as Junsu and Ri In made their way through the front entrence.
"Bye..." Ri In said at once when the girls started to flock around Junsu one by one.
She walked away before Junsu could reply.
Before she opened the entrance doors of the school building she turned around to take one last glance at Junsu.
Somehow their eyes met and they gazed at each other in silence, as if some invisible line connected them together.
Ri In forced her self to look away from Junsu, then she entered the building.
Her heart was beating in an abnormal speed and her face felt hot. She didn't know what was happening to her, but she did know that she can't wait for Chemistry class, where she'll see Junsu again.

Ri In looked at her legs in confusion. She doesn't understand why they're rushing her to class, it felt as if they were moving on their own, and that she had lost her control over them. When she finally felt that she had regained control over her legs, she realized that she had arrived in front of her Chemistry class. She walked to her usual table -in the front of the room, by the windows- and sat down. She dug through her bag for her Chemistry book, note book and pencil pouch.
Some one sat down quietly beside her.
Ri In froze for a moment. She had always sat in this table by herself, no one sat sat next to her, or more like no one wanted to sit next to her.
She thought this was quite reasonable, who would want to sit next to a nerdy girl, with huge thick glasses, and was hated by everyone.
Ri In slowly turned her head to see who just sat down next to her. It was Junsu. He had folded his arm on his desk, laid his head on them and had fell asleep already.
Ri In forced back a smile as she let her eyes trace his face.
She thought he looked like an angel, her finger tips itched to touch him, but she clutched them into fists.
During Chemistry class, Ri In took notes on everything the teacher wrote and said, she need to show this to her parents when she get home, as proof to show that she had paid attention in class.
As she was jotting down notes she felt that Junsu was staring at her, but whenever she sneaked a glance at Junsu, he had his eyes closed.
Class had ended early that day, Ri In packed up her Chemistry book, note book and pencil pouch.
She heard a soft yawn beside her, and turned her gaze upon Junsu.
She couldn't help but smile at the sight of Junsu rubbing his eyes with one hand like a little kid.
"Did you have a good nap?" she asked him.
"Mmm Hmm" Junsu hummed as he nodded.
"Is class over?" he asked her.
Ri In nodded.
"Oh..." Junsu said as he pulled out his phone. He flipped it open and pressed some buttons.
"Crap" he muttered, then got up from his seat.
"Bye... I'll catch you later" he said to Ri In, then walked out of the classroom.
"See you" Ri In whispered.

From then on, almost everyday, they walked to school together in the morning, and sat by each other in Chemistry class.
On the days that Junsu didn't sleep in class, he either shared a book with Ri In, or he just observed Ri In for the whole class period.

As Ri In walked quietly to her locker, someone called her from behind.
"Ri In" it was a husky voiced person. Ri In could easily tell that it belongs to Junsu.
She turned around to find Junsu standing behind her.
"Yes?" she replied.
"Want to eat lunch together?" he asked her. She could tell that he was blushing by the faint color of pink on his cheeks.
"Okay" she said smiling. She doesn't eat lunch, her parents thought that lunch wasn't important, she could be using the time to study instead of eating.
"Want to grab your lunch?" Junsu asked her.
She shook her head.
"I don't eat lunch" she replied him. She wanted to just watch Junsu while he eat.
"Did you not bring one?" he asked her.
She nodded slowly.
"Go to room A213 and wait for me there, I'll be right there" he said to her then quickly walked away.
'Eh?' Ri In thought.
As she walked to the room Junsu told her to go, she found she was being stared at alot.
She paused to glanced around, and found that a lot of girls were glaring and sneering at her.
She sighed, then she walked on, ignoring all the girls.
She knew why they were glaring at her, she knew that they hated her, she knew the reason, but she didn't care.
She liked being with Junsu, and that's all it mattered to her.
When she finally arrived at A213, she found that it was a music room.
She slowly opened the door. She found a slick black piano centered in the middle of the room, in front of the windows. There were chairs around the piano. It was a music class room.
She walked slowly to the piano, and opened its top.
She gently pressed a key. She smiled as she pressed another key.
"Do you play the piano?" someone suddenly asked her from behind.
Ri In gasped in surprise, she turned around to find Junsu coming into the room.
"No I don't" Ri In said shaking her head. Then she looked at Junsu. "Do you?" she asked him.
Junsu only replied her with a silent smile.
"I bought some food. Let's eat" he said as he sat down on the ground, in front of the window, with his back to the wall.
"E-eh?" Ri In said in confusion. Did he went to buy her food?
"Well, sit" he said with a soft smile.
Ri In couldn't help but smile back. She walked slowly and sat down next to him.
"I didn't know what you liked, so I got a bit of everything, so pick the things you like from the bag" Junsu said as he held out the bag for her.
She dug into the bag, and found a strawberry jam sandwich and strawberry milk, then took it out.
"Thank you" she said to Junsu.
"Anytime" he replied her with another smile.

After that, they ate lunch together everyday. Junsu bought her a strawberry sandwich and milk everyday.
Ri In slowly got used of eating lunch, and of being with Junsu.
She didn't know why, the more she is with him, the more she wants to stay with him.

It was on a Tuesday morning, on the way to school, Junsu had confessed.
"Ri In" he said in the a quiet voice.
"Yes?" she replied, turning to look at him.
"Would you be my girl friend?" he asked her with a flushing face.
Ri In thought that something was wrong with her ears. Did Junsu just ask her out? She asked her self.
"Eh?" she said in surprise.
"Would you go out with me?" Junsu asked her again, this time his already flushed face went darker.
Ri In grinned. She opened to say 'yes', but she suddenly froze.
Images of her parents flickered in her mind. She was scared to say 'yes' to him, she forced her self to swallow back her answer.
She took a deep breathe, then bit on her bottom lip.
"Sorry...I can't...I'm sorry" Ri In said as she looked at the ground.
"Why? Am I not good enough for you?" Junsu's husky voice turned tender.
'Not good enough for me?' she said in her mind. It wasn't that he wasn't good enough for her, it was because she thought that she, was the one that wasn't good enough for him.
"I'm sorry, I left something back home. Bye."
Before Junsu could reply, Ri In turned around and ran away.
She loved him, she knew she did, ever since the first time she met him...five years ago.
She knew she was being a coward, she knew she was being stupid, and she knew she was going to regret this.
She ran behind a tree and cried in silence.
'It's not fair'. She cried in her mind. It's not fair. Why is life so unfair.

That day in Chemistry class, Junsu didn't come, nor did he come the next day...Nor the next.
Ri In was getting lonelier and lonelier. She was also being bullied by some of the girls too.
They threw her books away, they graffiti-ed her desk. They spread horrible rumors about her.
Ri In didn't care though. She had her mind distracted on Junsu.
She couldn't stop thinking about him. She wanted to forget him, but she knows that it's hopeless. She can't forget him.
On Friday, Junsu waited for her, under the oak tree like usual in the morning.
Ri In didn't know what to do, should she ignore him, or say hi...
"Morning" Junsu said when he saw her walking toward him.
She forced a smile on and said "good morning" to him.
They walked to school in silence, then parted their way.
The day went on like nothing had ever happened between them.
Same with the next day, and the next...

One day when Ri In was walking in the hall way a group of girls crowded around her.
"Yah! You stupid Chinese girl think that you can get away with this?" a girl sneered at Ri In.
"Junsu oppa is OURS, not yours. I thought we cleared this up already." another girl grouched.
"Do you want us to teach you another lesson?" a manly looking girl held up a fist.
When Junsu wasn't here last week, the same girls gang up on her and beat her up. The bruises where still there...
Ri In remained silent, and looked down at the floor.
"YAH! LOOK AT US WHEN WE'RE TALKING TO YOU" a girl grabbed a lock of Ri In's long hair.
Ri In remained silent again. She didn't care if they beat her up again. She was used to pain, pain was something she grew up with..
When she was little, if she didn't get a perfect score, she would be beaten, or she was denied of the little food she had.
The girls started to push her around, one to another like she was some kind of toy made to be tortured around.
"What are you guys doing?" an angry voice suddenly broke the crowd.
The girls started to gasp one by one.
"J-Junsu oppa" they mummered.
"I asked WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?" Junsu yelled at the girls crowding around Ri In, while walking toward Ri In.
"O-oppa she started it" a girl whimpered.
"Keep on lying and see what I'll do to you" Junsu mummered. When he had arrived in front of Ri In, he glared at that girl who had her hand locked in Ri In's hair.
"Take. Your filthy hand. Off. Of. Her." Junsu said in a chilling cold voice.
"NOW" he screamed at the girl.
The girl was too scared of Junsu to even breathe let along releasing her hand from Ri In's hair.
"Did you not hear me? I said to remove your hand." Junsu leaned close to the girl. The girl released her shaking hand from Ri In's hair, and looked at Junsu.
"If anyone of you dare touch Ri In again, I will personally kill you. DO YOU HEAR ME?" Junsu looked at the crowd of girls with a pair of blood thirsty glare.
All the girls were too scared to say anything, but some managed to nod. They slowly walked away one by one.

Junsu looked at Ri In as if she was the source of his existence...
Junsu pulled Ri In into his arms and embraced her tight.
"Why didn't you ask for help? Why didn't you come to me? Why did you have to suffer?" Junsu asked Ri In as she stood unmoving in his arms.
Ri In was scared. She was terrified, but it wasn't from the girls that were here just now....it was Junsu.
"S-stop." Ri In said to Junsu.
"What?" Junsu asked her in surprise.
"Let me go. Leave me alone please. Don't come to me ever again." Ri In said as tears flowed down her cheeks.
Junsu's arms slowly dropped to his side...
He looked at Ri In like she was speaking in a language he didn't understand.
"W-why?" He stuttered.
Ri In just shook her head. She turned around and headed for the stair case to get away from Junsu.
"WAIT!" Junsu yelled after her.
Ri In ran faster. She found an emergency exit door, and ran into it. She was blinded by her tears, and didn't see the stair case steps.
"RI IN!" Junsu yelled when he saw that Ri In missed a step and fell down the stair case.
He quickly ran down the stairs to see if anything was wrong with Ri In.
Ri In moaned as she tried to move.
"Don't move. I'll carry you...Don't complain please...Just let me carry you to the nurse." Junsu said gently as he swung Ri In's right arm over his neck. He slid one of his arm under Ri In's legs, and wrapped another one around her waist.
He carried her in silence to the infirmary. No one was in the infirmary, so he placed Ri In gently on a bed.
"Thank you." Ri In said as she looked away from Junsu's eyes.
"You're welcome." Junsu said with a gentle smile. He saw that Ri In was uncomfortable with him around...
"I will leave you alone...But please remember this...I love you...I really love you..." Junsu said to Ri In then he turned around to go.
Ri In thought she should be relieved to hear that...but she wasn't. She felt horrible... She felt like she was suffocating...

"S-scared..." She said as tears started to form in her eyes again...
"Huh?" Junsu asked as he turned around. He found Ri In had covered her eyes with the back of her left had. There was two trails of tears flowing down....
"I'm scared...I'm scared of you...I'm scared that if I'm too close to you...I wouldn't able to stop my feelings. I'm a coward. I'm sorry...I..I love you, but I'm scared of love...I've never been in love before, so I didn't know that love was such a powerful emotion. To be in love is scary. M-my mind is full of you every single moment. I'm scared that if you're too close to me, i-if one day you were to disappear, I-I I don't know what I'll d-" Before Ri In could finish her sentence she felt something crushed onto her lips.
She opened her eyes to find Junsu... Junsu had his lips on top of hers. She tried to push Junsu away, but Junsu grabbed on to both of her hands, so she wouldn't be able to do anything.
Ri In find her self slowly losing her strength. She stopped struggling, and her hands slipped away from Junsu's grasp and made their way around Junsu's neck, pulling his face even closer to hers.
She can't run away anymore. She can't no matter how much she wants to. She had fallen too deep for Junsu. There was no turning back now...

"I'll walk you home." Junsu said to Ri In.
She grinned and nodded. They walked side by side, then Junsu slipped his fingers into Ri In's.
Ri In blushed and held his hand tightly. When she saw that they were close to her house, she stopped in her tracks.
"What's wrong?" Junsu asked her worriedly, afraid that something was troubling her.
"I'll see you tomorrow okay? I'll walk home alone from this point on." She said, hoping he'd understand.
Junsu understood. He gave her hand a squeeze and kissed her forehead.
"I'll see you tomorrow. Bye." He smiled, then let go of her hand.
"Bye." Ri In said with a pout...She didn't want to leave Junsu.
Junsu smiled at her childishness and give her another kiss, on the lips this time.
"Now go." He said then give her a little push.
Ri In smiled, she turned around and walked home...
When she walked far enough,she turned around, Junsu was still standing there watching her.
Ri In smiled and waved at him. He waved back, and made a hand signature to tell her to hurry and go home.
She nodded and waved again. Then she turned around and walked home.

"I heard from your school that you weren't at history class, because you weren't feeling well." Ri In's mom said to Ri In the moment Ri In walked through the door.
"I-I didn't feel well..." Ri In stuttered. She was getting scared now. Her mom looked furious.
"Who the hell gave you permission to skip a class? As long as you're still breathing then go to class. DO YOU HEAR ME?" Ri In's mom screeched.
Ri In nodded. She walked up stairs to her room when she felt that it was safe.
Ri In sighed as she sat down on her chair, and turned her view toward her window.
"I want to see you..." Ri In whispered.

"Do you want to hang out this Saturday?" Junsu asked Ri In in Chemistry class.
"I-I do, but I can't. My parents..." Ri In's voice trailed off. She looked at her desk and bit on her lower lip. She wanted to go and hang out with Junsu, of course, but her parents won't allow it.
"Can you get away tonight then?" Junsu said.
Ri In thought about it, maybe if she finish her work early and do everything fast today, then her parents would sleep early and she'll have a chance to sneak out.
"Yes. Meet me at our tree at one...is that okay?" Ri In asked Junsu quietly, afraid that he might not make it.

"It's fine, one right? Okay! It's a date then!" Junsu smiled at Ri In. Ri In blushed at the word "date", and looked away.
Junsu smiled bigger, at Ri In's shyness.

"I'm going to sleep, just finish reviewing these chapters got it?" Ri In's dad said as he walked out of her room.
"Got it." she muttered. She looked at her watch. It was 12:45. She needed to hurry up or she would be late.
But she needed to wait for a little while until she was sure her parents are asleep.
"Sorry Junsu." She whispered to herself. She would have to leave a little bit later. She sighed.

At 1:10, she put on a hat and coat, then opened her bedroom door and closed it as quietly as she can.
She tried not to make a single sound as she walked downstairs.
She paused when she reached the bottom of the steps, and she listened to see if her parents had noticed or not.
They didn't, so she smiled in relief, and walked out the door, but she made to close the front door with out making a single sound.
She quickly ran to her and Junsu's meeting place.
As Ri In ran she found someone was walking toward her, so she quit running and walked quietly. She saw that the stranger stopped walking, as if whoever he was, was waiting for her.
Ri In didn't know what to do she froze in her spot. It was pitch dark outside, and it was still a bit of distance for her to reach Junsu for help if anything happened.
"Ri In?" A familiar voice came from the stranger.
"Junsu?" Ri In gasped. She sighed in relief. It was Junsu...
"Oh good, it is you. You were a bit late, so I thought maybe something happened. Sorry if I scared you. I wasn't sure if it was you, it's really dark." Junsu said as he walked next to Ri In.
He found Ri In's hand with out trouble. It was as if he had done this since forever. He held Ri In's hands tightly.
"Where do you want to go?" Junsu asked Ri In.
"I-I don't know. I don't really know anywhere besides the market and school. I'm not really allowed to go outside of my house" Ri In said in a sad voice.
"Ah...Hm...Tell me the place where you want to go the most" Junsu said as he buried his face in Ri In's hair.
"The beach..." Ri In said in a soft voice.
"That's a bit far...If we go now then we won't make it back here in the morning. I'm okay with it, but are you okay with it?"
"I-...No...I have to make it back before 4. Or I won't be able to sneak back in. So...How about you decide?" Ri In sighed at the mention of her home. She doesn't want to go home, of course she doesn't. That place is the last place she wants to be in. That place is like a cage. That place makes her want to kill her self. She had tried it once, but got caught...

"Are you sure you want me to decide?" Junsu asked her.
"Of course! We don't actually have to go anywhere if you want. I-I just want to be with you, so anywhere is fine." Ri In smiled at the thought of Junsu deciding, but then blushed quickly when she realized what she just said.
"How about...the movies?" Junsu suggested.
"Okay." Ri In grinned in happiness. It was her first time going to the movies, and she was going with Junsu.
At the movies, Ri In and Junsu had a fun time, they ordered food, and watched Twilight...
A girl behind them squealed and said that Edward was then handsomest man she'd ever seen.
Ri In glanced at Junsu. Ri In thought that, that girl was wrong. Junsu was the handsomest man ever.
Junsu turned to look at Ri In smiling at him. He smiled back and ruffled her hair.
At the end of the movie, Ri In smiled and asked Junsu, "What if you were Edward, and I was Bella? Would you have turned me into a vampire? Or no?"
Junsu looked at Ri In for a moment. He closed his eyes and thought hard about it.
"Haha it's not a trick question, you don't have to answer." Ri In laughed at Junsu's seriousness.
"I would let you stay human, because I don't want you to suffer like me. If you were to die, then I would die with you..." Junsu said to Ri In with a serious face.
"Thank you..." Ri In said with a faint smile on. She would do the same if she was Edward, and Junsu was Bella. Her smile got bigger as she placed that image in her mind.
"What are you smiling at now?" Junsu asked her. Ri In just shook her head.
Junsu pouted and ruffled Ri In's hair. "Heyyyy no keeping secrets from me got it?" Junsu demanded in a playful voice.
Ri In shook her head and ran away from Junsu. Junsu chased after her, he soon caught up and hugged her from behind.
"Junsu...we're still in the movie theater." Ri In whispered to Junsu with her face blazing red.
"I don't care, I like having you in my arms." Junsu pouted like a kid.
Ri In just smiled. All of a sudden something wet flowed down her lips.
Ri In went to touch it. It was blood. She gently pushed Junsu away, and wiped her nose, but the blood wouldn't stop.
"Come on." Junsu said as he grabbed her hand and took her to the girl's bathroom.
He barged in the door, and grabbed a tissue for Ri In.
"J-Junsu...This is the girl's bathroom." Ri In said as she looked at Junsu with a funny look on her face.
"I know that, but you're bleeding so hard, and hey! No one's in here but us right now. Now hurry and wash those blood off." Junsu said as he pulled her to a sink.
Ri In washed her face, then twisted a tissue, and tucked it up her nose.
"All better." Ri In made a silly grin at Junsu. He smiled and shook his head.

"Bye, I'll see you later." Ri In whispered to Junsu as they parted.
"See you." Junsu said to Ri In. He watched her as she rushed home. The sky was brighter now, just like his heart.
Ri In successfully sneaked into her bedroom without caught. She was so happy that she couldn't sleep.
She took off her glasses, and placed it beside her pillow.
She grinned as she thought of Junsu's cute face, and rolled on her bed. Suddenly she heard a crack. She groaned as she lifted her glasses up, which was in two pieces now.
'Crap, my parents are going to kill me.' She thought as she sighed.
All of a sudden her bedroom door opened. Her mom had come to check on her.
"Why are your glasses broken?" her mom asked her.
"Uh...I accidentally broke it." Ri In looked at her mom like her mom was a tiger.
"Well, luckily your dad and I prepared contacts just in case something like this happened. I'll go get them." Ri In's mom said as she walked away.
Ri In sighed. She was glad that her mom didn't freak out on her.
She quickly glanced at her wrist, there was a bruise on it. She tried to remember when or how she had gotten it, but she couldn't remember.
"Here, just put it in your eyes." Her mom said as she threw a little case at Ri In. Ri In couldn't see well, so she got hit by the case on the head.
Ri In quickly got up, and went to put the contacts in. She got dressed and brushed her hair. She didn't feel like putting up her hair today so she left it down.

"Junsu." Ri In smiled as she saw Junsu waiting for her under their tree.
"Ri In...Y-y-y-you..." Junsu stuttered at the sight of Ri In's new look.
"Do I look horrible? Or more horrible to put it exactly." Ri In closed her eyes in embarrassment.
"N-no, you look beautiful, more beautiful." Junsu was still observing Ri In's new look when he said that.
"Thank you." Ri In said blushing.
On the way to school and all day in school, when ever Junsu saw Ri In, he couldn't take his eyes off of her.
Some girls gasped and mumbled in jealousy when they saw Ri In. The guys were gawking at Ri In. They couldn't believe that this girl was the same girl as before.
Ri In didn't notice however, because she was so occupied with Junsu.

Ri In and Junsu had a weekly plan, every 2 days of each week they would see each other out side of school. Ri In would sneak out at night to see Junsu.
Every week she found that something was wrong with her. She had found random bruises on her, but she would hide them by wearing long sleeve shirts, so Junsu wouldn't see. She found that she had lost a lot of weight, and that she was getting weaker and weaker.
Junsu had mentioned once that she was getting paler, and asked if she was okay. Ri In answered that she was fine, and that she felt better than ever.
Junsu had insisted on a check up with the doctor, so Ri In finally agreed one day.
She asked her parents to take her to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well and she had not had a doctor check up in 3 years.

Her parents reluctantly agreed. So on Saturday they went for a doctors appointment.
The doctor said that there was something strange about her, and they did special tests.
Ri In just sighed. She didn't care what was going to happen to her, as long as she have Junsu.
The doctors said that they would have the result in on Monday.
Ri In and her mom thanked the doctor and then went home.
"You're always making more trouble for me, I can't believe you." Her mom muttered in the car. Ri In just nodded. She didn't care what her mom thought.

She just wanted to see Junsu later tonight.

That night, her mom had let her go to sleep earlier than usual.
Of course, Ri In sneaked out early that night...
Ri In rushed to her and Junsu's meeting place. Junsu was taking her to the beach today.
"Junsu." Ri In whispered when she arrived at their meeting place.
"Here, put this on." Junsu said as he handed Ri In a helmet.
"Thank you." Ri In said as she put the helmet over her head. Then with Junsu's help, she sat at the back of Junsu's motorcycle.
"Hold on tight." Junsu said when he felt Ri In's arms around his waist.
Ri In blushed as she tightened her arms around Junsu.
During the middle of the ride, Ri In began to feel dizzy. She put a hand on her forehead and she was sweating like crazy. Then she felt blood coming down her nose...

"Junsu...Can we stop for a second?" Ri In asked Junsu.
"Stop? Okay, hold on..." Junsu said with concern in his voice. He quickly stopped on the side of the road, and quickly got off.
"Ri In what's wrong?" Junsu asked Ri In when he saw her condition.
"J-Junsu..." Ri In said with her eyes half open, it looked like she was about to faint any moment now...
"Hold on okay? I'll take you to a hospital, there's one near here." Junsu said as he got on his motorcycle again.
But then he found that Ri In no longer had the strength to place her arms around him anymore, let along the strength to hold on to him.
Junsu swore under his breathe, then he got off his motor cycle and gently wrapped Ri In's arm around his neck.
He gently lifted Ri In from the motorcycle then held her legs tight against his waist.
"Hold on Ri In, you're going to be just fine." Junsu comforted Ri In, but it was more like a comfort for himself.
Junsu ran as fast as he could to the hospital.
"Junsu...I love you." Ri In whispered in Junsu's ears.
"Ri In? I love you too, so please hang on. Hang on for me okay? I won't let anything happen to you." Junsu said in a panicking voice.
He was scared, really scared. He didn't know what was happening to Ri In. He didn't want to lose her, he was her life.
When he finally arrived at the hospital, he immediately begged the nurse to save Ri In.
The nurse called for doctors and other nurses for a emergency operation.
"Please fill this out." One of the nurses brought a clipboard with a blank information sheet in it, for Junsu to fill out.
"Please save her!" Junsu begged the nurse.
"We'll do all we can." The nurse said, then walked away.
Junsu filled out the information sheet as much as he could.
He handed it to the nurse, and rushed to Ri In's operation room.
He sat on the chairs out side of the operations room, and waited. He closed his eyes and prayed. He prayed for Ri In to be okay, he prayed for Ri In to smile at him again, and he prayed to be able to be by Ri In's side again.
After an hour, the operation room opened. A doctor walked out.
Junsu quickly rushed forward.
"How's Ri In?" He asked the doctor.
The doctor shook his head and said, "She's still alive, but not for long. She's had Leukemia for a long time. But because her symptoms weren't obvious, she didn't get it checked out. It's unfortunate, but these kind of incidents do happen. I'm sorry."

"H-how long does she have?" Junsu forced him self to ask. This was the answer he was dreading the most.
"A week at most." The doctor said then he sighed.
"A week...only a w-week..." Junsu said closing his eyes. He took a deep breathe and said, "Can I go see her?"
"Yes, we just sent her to room L203." The doctor said to Junsu with pity in his eyes.

"Thank you, excuse me" Junsu said as he quickly turned around and ran for L203.
When he arrived infront of room L203, he paused before opening the door.
He slowly opened the door, and walked in quietly. He found Ri In lying peacefully on the bed.
Junsu quietly sat down in a chair beside Ri In's bed. He took one of her hands and grasped it tight.
"Don't leave me, please don't leave me...I'm begging you please don't leave." Junsu whispered to Ri In, then he felt something wet on his face, tears...
He felt something soft was wiping his tears away.
Junsu looked up to find Ri In wiping his tears away with her free hand.
"Don't cry...Smile, smile for me..." Ri In said with a faint smile.
"Ri In..." Junsu said as he forced a smile on his face.
Ri In pouted and said, "So...how long do I have?"
Junsu forced his fake smile to stay on his face and said, "What are you talking about pabo? You're going to get better and then we'll go to the beach again okay? Just work on getting better, got that?"
Ri In's faint smile remained on her face as she asked again, "How long Junsu? Answer me..."
Junsu's fake smile was gone now. He forced him self to answer, "A week..."
Ri In turned her gaze toward the window.
"Ah...I knew it..." Ri In said smiling.
Suddenly the door opened, and Ri In's mom walked in. She glared at Junsu while walking toward him.
"What did you do to my daughter?" Ri In's mom yelled at Junsu.
"Stop! He didn't do anything." Ri In said as she tried to sit up. Junsu hurried and pushed her down.
"Rest please." He whispered to Ri In. Ri In shook her head. She didn't want Junsu to be hurt by her mom. When her mom was mad no one knew what she would do.

"DON'T TOUCH MY DAUGHTER!" Ri In's mom screamed as she charged at Junsu.
"Mom! Go away, leave please. Please don't touch Junsu." Ri In said as she begged her mom.
"What did this boy do to you Ri In?" Ri In's mom asked Ri In.
"Nothing!" Ri In answered. Ri In tried to sit up again, but Junsu pushed her down again.
"I SAID DON'T TOUCH HER!" Ri In's mom screamed. Then she slapped Junsu.
"Junsu! Mom, I told you, it's nothing! LEAVE!" Ri In yelled at her mom. She couldn't handle her mom abusing Junsu, she'd rather her mom abuse herself.
"W-what? What are you saying? After I raised you, this is the way you show your gratitude?" Ri In's mom said as she turned to Ri In.
"You never treated me like I was your daughter. I felt like a slave, I had no freedom at all. I did everything you and dad wanted. Can't you grant me even a bit of freedom?" Ri In said as tears flowed out of the corners of her eyes.
"You-" Ri In's mom said as she raised a hand to slap Ri In. Junsu however grabbed her wrist, so she wouldn't hit Ri In.
"If you want to hit someone, hit me. Don't hit Ri In." Junsu said as looked into Ri In's mom's eyes.
"Fine, do what you want." Ri In's mom snapped as she ripped her hand from Junsu's grasp.
"I won't even care if you die." Ri In's mom said as she glared at Ri In. Then she turned around and walked out of the room, while slamming the door.
"I'm sorry. Does it hurt?" Ri In asked Junsu, while holding up a hand to reach for Junsu's face.
"It doesn't hurt, don't worry. Just rest..." Junsu said as he lowered his face so Ri In can touch it.
"I'm really sorry..." Ri In said to Junsu, then her eyes began to close. "Sorry...." She whispered as she closed her eyes.
"Ri In?" Junsu panicked. "RI IN?" Junsu raised his voice. "Ri In, can you hear me? Are you sleeping o-or ar-are you-" He started to panic, but sighed when he saw that Ri In was still breathing.
"She's just asleep...just asleep..." Junsu muttered to himself over and over again. He was scared. He thought that she had left him already...

All that week Junsu cared for Ri In. He tried not to leave her for a single moment.
He fed her meals to her, and he read stories to her. He even tried to sing for her.

"Junsu..." Ri In smiled as she looked at Junsu, who was standing by the window.
"Yes?" Junsu said as he looked at Ri In with concern in his eyes, he was afraid that something was hurting her.
"We've never been to the beach. Can you take me there tomorrow?" Ri In asked Junsu, then she put on her best puppy dog eyes look.
"I-I...I'll go ask the doctor." Junsu said as he sighed.
"Yay!" Ri In grinned at Junsu's answer.
Junsu smiled at Ri In's childness, and ruffled her hair. Then he walked out of the room to talk to the doctor.

"I just talked to the doctor." Junsu said as he walked into the room again. Ri In looked at him with her puppy eyes again.
"Ahh...Don't look at me like that. Don't worry, he said it's fine. Just take your medicines." Junsu said as he put on a fake smile. He didn't want Ri In to go out of the hospital. He wanted her to stay and rest, just in case something happened to her.
"Yayyy, I can't wait until tomorrow." Ri In said as she giggled to her self.
Junsu smiled at her cuteness. He walked to her, and gave her a kiss.
"Hehe." Ri In giggled, and then she hid her face under her blanket.
"Heyyy don't hide. Let me kiss you." Junsu said playfully as he tried to take the blanket from Ri In.
Ri In held on to her blanket tighter. Junsu chuckled, then he pulled on the blanket harder.
"I winnn." Junsu laughed as he pulled the blanket off of Ri In.
But his laugh disappeared as soon as it came.
"Ri In...Ri In!" Junsu said as he quickly grabbed for tissue. Ri In's nose was bleeding again. This time it looked like it wasn't going to stop.
"Junsu..." Ri In whispered Junsu's name softly.
"Don't worry, I'll go get the doctor." Junsu said as he reached for the emergency button. Ri In's hands stopped him though.
"No...Don't call for him. Take me to the beach Junsu...Please...The beach..." Ri In said as she pushed her self up from the bed.
"Ri In, please be reasonable. Let me call for the doctor please. We'll go to the beach one day okay? When you're all better." Junsu said as he tried to push Ri In's hand away from the emergency button.
"Junsu please. The beach." Ri In begged Junsu again.
"Please before it's too late..." Ri In begged.
Junsu looked at Ri In, her face was scarily pale. He bit on his bottom lips and nodded.
"Fine. I'll go grab your coat, okay?" Junsu said as he reached for Ri In's coat.
Ri In grabbed a handful of tissues and wiped her nose. She quickly tucked a thick tissue into her nose and stood up.
She was too dizzy to stand up straight, so she fell on the bed again.
"Ri In! What am I going to do with you? The beach isn't too far from here. I'll piggy back you there." Junsu said as he rushed to Ri In's side. He put Ri In's coat on for her.Then got on the floor for Ri In to get on his back.
"Hold on tight." Junsu said. As he got up, he held Ri In's legs tight against his waist.
"Yay beach!" Ri In said childishly. Junsu couldn't help but smile.
He carried her out of the hospital and walked slowly to the beach.
"Hey Junsuuu..." Ri In said as she played with Junsu's hair.
"Hm?" Junsu hummed.
"What do you think we would be if we didn't meet?"
"I- I don't know...I don't want to know. I'm just thankful that we did meet."
"Oh...Then another question What is the thing most important to you?"
"You. Of course it's you. I've never had anything for me to treasure, until you came..."
"Me too...I'm glad I will live and die loving only you.Thank you Junsu..." Ri In said as she laid her head down on Junsu's back.
"Ri In?" Junsu asked as he felt something was wrong with Ri In.
"Junsu...I love you...I really do...Please live on for me...I hope you'll find happiness again...Thank you for the happiness you've given me...Thank you..." Ri In said while closing her eyes.
"Ri In. No...No...Stay awake! Please, if you love me then live, please live for me...Ri In...Ri In?" Junsu called for Ri In over and over again.
But she didn't give even a hint of a response...

"Ri In...Look, open your eyes and look, it's the beach, we've arrived. Ri In please..." Junsu begged Ri In, as he quickly ran toward the beach, as if, if he brings Ri In to the beach she'll open her eyes again...
He slowly layed Ri In on the sand, and sat next to Ri In. Then he lifted Ri In up and placed her head on his shoulder, he wrapped a arm around Ri In to support her.
"Look Ri In, it's the beach. You've been wanting to come here didn't you? Open your eyes, see we're here. Ri In...Open your eyes, come on...Please" Junsu was on the verge of breaking down.
"The beach...Thank you Junsu...Thank you..." Ri In whispered with a smile.
"Ri In..." Junsu gasped.
"Don't cry Junsu..." Ri In said as she raised a quivering hand, and wiped Junsu's tears away. Junsu was surprised himself, he hadn't realized that he was crying...

"You'll be fine even with me gone. I'll be in your dreams every day whether you like it or not...deal?" Ri In tried to joke with a smile.
"If you're in my dream, then I don't ever want to wake up." Junsu said as he buried his face in Ri In's hair again.
"Please live on for my sake...I'll be by your side everyday. I will watch over you..." Ri In said as she used up her last bit of strength to sit up and kiss Junsu lightly on the lips.
"I love you...from now til forever...timelessly...I love you Junsu..." Ri In whispered, then she fell softly on to Junsu's lap.
"Ri In, stay with me! Don't leave me...Please don't, please open your eyes, please...please..." Junsu begged and begged.
A tear slipped from Ri In's eye, and she smiled as she whispered one last time...
"I love you..."
