They get out of the subway station, and just as Sehun’s foot is about to take off from the last step. Sehun stops dead in his tracks, because all of a sudden, his hand feels warm.

"It's a habit of mine," Luhan explains as he realizes that Sehun’s stopped walking, fiddling his fingers against his. "You should get used to it." he laughs, and Luhan’s laugh is comical that Sehun can't help but let his heart drop.

This is weird, he thinks. His cheeks are tingling.

It must’ve been the breeze of wind. It’s summer. Winds are uncommon. The sensation just feels foreign enough to make him blush. It isn’t because Luhan’s holding his hand. It isn’t.

“Let’s go?” Luhan breathes, pulling Sehun’s hand along with him.

Their hands were red to the touch.

a/n: hello there! read this NOTE DISCLAIMER WARNING WHATEVER JUST READ FIRST uhmm... this was a chentao fic i wrote for chenpionships of the same name around two?? three?? years ago under the pen name baboochanchan. if anyone doubts the the authenticity of this. i joined the fic fest with the same email i still am using now even if i deleted the journal alrdy. i am generally unhappy with this fic and revising it into selu was a desperate attempt for me be satisfied in this. im not quite sure if anyone understands what im trying to achieve with this but please do know i didnt write this with the characters and the names attached in mind. although i did try to edit it as much as i can to make it sound more true to their character. i hope no one has any violent reactions with this because i did write the story and i do think i have the right to do as i please with it.
