Scene after defeating Han Do Joon, where TH surprises YJ in the kitchen. Inspiration came from the fact that YJ looked about to cry when she said “Welcome” as if thinking about all the struggles they went to to get to this point.

TH motioned for the cook to be silent and cautiously approached his best friend and the love of his life. He swooped her up in a back hug and she turned around to return his hug.

YJ: “Welcome…”

TH: “It must’ve been hard for you today.”

Yeo Jin tears up and buries her face into Tae Hyun’s shirt. She’s been tense to not show any reactions and weaknesses in front of her enemies the whole day. Now she can relax.

While her hair he reassuringly tells her “Kwenchana, it’s over.”

They stay there in that position and she can’t help but think to herself that he is her safe haven; she belongs there.
