Joongki and Hyekyo arrived at the hospital 30 mins. after the call.

JoongKi drove in a hurry on the way back. He kept on glancing at HyeKyo who was fighting back her tears. As soon as they arrived HyeKyo got out of the car without saying any word and ran to the emergency room. She was greeted by Dr. Chi Hoon

“What happened?” HyeKyo asked as she was led to the operating room where her sister was

“She got into a road accident, they said a car who was beating the red light hit the side of her car, Dr Song is inside operating on her as she suffered a mild traumatic brain injury, she broke a couple of ribs and also her right arm, she was checked for internal bleeding but thankfully there was none, some minor injuries all over her body as she was hit by the shattered glass of her car”

HyeKyo nodded as she listened to what Chi Hoon was saying, they reached the outside of the surgery room and there was someone sitting outside, she stopped as she realized who he was. Hyun Bin immediately stood up when Hye Kyo arrived, he grabbed her arm and said

“Please, please HyeKyo please save her, please” HyeKyo looked at him as tears were forming in his eyes

“We fought, I was wrong, please, I can’t live without her, Please save her” Hyun Bin continued pleading as his words hit her right through the heart, she felt anger and sadness at the same time but she knew it wasn’t the time for that

“Let me go” she said firmly, Hyun bin stopped talking and just looked at her

“I said, LET ME GO!” Hyun bin let go of HyeKyo’s arm and she went inside the operating area

Hyun Bin settled down once again as he put his face in his hands and his tears continued falling. He waited outside the operating area sitting and standing full of panic. Moments after, Joongki arrived and also waited outside. He sat across him as Hyun Bin looked up to see who came

“She’ll be able to save her, for sure” JoongKi said to Hyun Bin. 

“You don’t even know her that well to be saying something like that” Hyun Bin replied

“I know her enough to tell that she wouldn’t let her sister die in her hands” Hyun Bin just looked at him and didn’t say anything. They sat there silently waiting for the surgery to finish. After 5 hours Dr Song and HyeKyo finally got out, Dr Song went to Hyun Bin and said

“We were able to control the swelling and bleeding inside her brain, we are expecting no effects but we’ll know for sure when she wakes up” Hye Kyo the followed and said

“She’ll be confined in the VIP room” the doors of the operating room then opened as Hye Kyo’s sister was brought to her room. Hyun Bin followed and HyeKyo and Joong Ki was left alone outside the operating area, Hye Kyo was in her scrubs as she sat. JoongKi approached her and kneeled in front of her.

“You did a great job” he said as she patted her head. HyeKyo looked up to him as her emotions started overcoming her. Without hesitation, she started crying as she wrapped her arms around JoongKi and embraced him.
