"Eomma, Appa, I'm going to miss you guys" I pout. My flight from Vancouver to Seoul was in three hours. A few days ago, I received an email from BigHit Entertainment saying they had an empty spot in their auditions. They emailed me the date, time and place. After graduating last month, I've been thinking of a fresh start. I decided to audition for Big Hit because I love to sing and rap. I'm also not that bad of a dancer since I took classes from ages 6-16. It's been my dream to become an idol. I'm confident that I'd do well. Mom and dad asked my aunt if I could stay with her while I'm there. My aunt gladly accepted. "We'll miss you too, honey" Mom says. Mom and dad pull me into an embrace. "Good luck with the audition" Dad smiles. Mom turned to him and smacked his arm. "Jinah doesn't need luck. Wishing her good luck means she might not do good in the auditions" She frowns. "I understand" He chuckles. I hear a car honk coming from outside the house "My ride's here" I sigh. "Have a safe flight honey" Dad said. "I will" I smile as he helps carry my luggage to the taxi's trunk. Mom ran outside holding an envelope. "What's this?" I asked as she hands it over to me. "Korean won. Did you think I'd let you go without money?" She asks. "No. Thank you mom." I smile, hugging her and dad once more before entering the taxi. "Where to, miss?" The driver asks "The airport please".

"Jinah!" I heard someone shout in the airport. I looked around until my eyes landed on my aunt. She was jumping up and down holding a sign that said 'Welcome back, Kim Jin Ah'. "Aunt Shin Hye!" I shouted while running towards her. We hugged each other for a long period of time. "You've grown so much since I last saw you" She smiles. "But you're still taller than me. In fact, I think you grew a bit taller" I pout. I've always wanted to grow taller than my aunt. "Me? Grow taller? No way! I'm getting old, Jinah. If anything, I'm getting shorter" She chuckles. "Where's uncle?" I curiously asked. "He's at home cooking dinner for us" She says. I nod as we walk outside the airport. Throughout the whole drive to aunts house, we talked and laughed. It felt great catching up with her. "When's your audition?" She asked. "It's in two days" I answered. "Then you must practice a lot" She smiled. "Do you know 방탄소년단 (BTS)?" She asked.
